Brooke Shields is officially entering the Bravo universe — alongside her daughter.
Bravo released the season 2 trailer for “Next Gen NYC” during NBCUniversal’s 2026 Upfront presentation on May 11, revealing that Shields’ daughter, Rowan Henchy, has joined the cast.
In the trailer, several returning cast members discuss the arrival of the “new girl” before Rowan is shown walking through Manhattan.
One cast member appears unsure who the Hallmark fan-favorite is, prompting Gia Giudice to jokingly describe the actress as “Hannah Montana’s mom.”
Shields later appears onscreen during a scene involving the placement of her late mother’s ashes.
“I put my mother next to the two things she loves the most: me and booze,” Shields joked.
The line references a story previously shared in her 2014 memoir, “There Was a Little Girl: The Real Story of My Mother and Me.”
Shields shares Rowan, 22, and daughter Grier, 20, with husband Chris Henchy.
‘Next Gen NYC’ Season 2 Trailer Teases New Relationships & Breakups
The season 2 trailer also previews several evolving relationships within the cast.
During one dinner scene, Charlie Zakkour announces, “Ariana and I have not had sex,” prompting Ariana Biermann to call out his “(expletive) crazy-ass comment.”
Charlie later jokes, “OK, fine, can we go and give each other mean gifts?”
Elsewhere in the trailer, Riley Burruss refers to Ariana and Charlie as a “new dynamic duo,” while Gia compares the pair to the iconic spaghetti-sharing moment from Lady and the Tramp.
The preview also hints at a possible love triangle involving Ariana, newcomer Liam Obergfoll, and returning cast member Hudson McLeroy.
At one point, Hudson arrives via private jet before saying in a confessional, “I think Ariana and I will end up getting back together.”
Later, during a tense exchange with Liam, Hudson says, “I’m not gonna (expletive) sit here and let myself be a bitch.”
The trailer also teases questions surrounding exclusivity after Charlie references whether someone has “the label of exclusivity.”
The clip then cuts to a speakerphone conversation where someone directly asks Charlie, “Did you hook up with Ariana?”
The trailer cuts away before viewers hear his answer.
Bravo Teases Bigger Drama in ‘Next Gen NYC’ Season 2
Bravo described season 2 as “anything but chill” in its official announcement.
“The pace is faster, the hustle is louder, and for this New York City crew, life in the city that never sleeps is a full-on reality check,” the network stated.
The announcement continued, “From first real apartments and lingering scandals to messy breakups, shifting friendships and new romances, everyone’s trying to build a life that feels authentic — but also aesthetic.”
The network also teased the pressures of public image and social media among the group.
“In a world driven by image, ambition, and constant visibility, they quickly learn that making it is one thing — holding onto it, and each other, is another.”
Shields is not the only famous parent appearing during season 2.
Kandi Burruss also appears in the trailer, encouraging daughter Riley Burruss to “own [her] greatness.”
An image of Seth Marks from “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” also flashes onscreen during an argument between Charlie and Brooks Marks.
Meanwhile, Ava Dash appears to be navigating heartbreak while dealing with news surrounding her father Damon Dash’s bankruptcy filing.
Ava’s mother, Rachel Roy, offers support in one emotional moment.
“Guys come and go,” Rachel says. “You need some girls that can be like, we’re gonna bring the tequila and we’re gonna get through this.”
Returning cast members for season 2 include Ariana, Gia, Charlie, Hudson, Riley, Emira D’Spain, Brooks, Ava, Georgia McCann, and Shai Fruchter.
New additions include Rowan, Liam, and Kendall White.
“Next Gen NYC” season 2 premieres June 24, on Bravo.

That’s so cool to see Brooke involved! It’s great that Rowan’s getting a chance to shine too.
