Miranda Lambert‘s roots lead back to Texas, which is where she was born and raised. Now, her childhood home and family compound in the southern state is for sale, hitting the market for a touch under $1.6 million.
Lambert “lived in the ‘big house’ from the age of 14 [until she was] 21,” said Lee Trowbridge of Compass, who listed the property, according to Mansion Global. “The pink house was purchased after she signed her record deal when she was 21.”
Mansion Global notes that “Lambert still owns the pink house, while her parents own the rest of the compound, records with PropertyShark show. It’s not clear how much either of them paid.”
“Until their transition out of the home about a year ago, the property served as the Lambert family home,” Trowbridge also said. “During their time living there, the property was a home to many, including those who needed a helping hand, or a place to land.”
The Property Offers a ‘Cool Factor & Functional Country Living’
“Own a piece of country music history in a quiet East Texas setting that offers both a meaningful past and room to breathe,” according to the listing. “Known as the childhood home of Miranda Lambert, this setting blends a unique sense of history with thoughtfully maintained spaces and a flexible layout designed to adapt to a variety of needs.”
The listing also notes that, “[s]et among open and wooded acreage, the offering includes two separate residences, a private, well-stocked, three-acre pond and extensive outdoor areas designed to support gatherings and everyday enjoyment. Mature trees, water views, and generous land create a sense of separation while remaining conveniently located…”
Getty“The main residence showcases hardwood flooring, built-in cabinetry, textured walls, and vintage details that add character throughout,” per the listing. “Light-filled living spaces connect naturally to porches, decks, and courtyard areas, offering comfortable transitions between indoor and outdoor spaces. Bedrooms are well-proportioned, and the primary bathroom includes a soaking tub positioned near windows that bring in natural light and views of the landscape.”
As for the second residence, which is near the pond, the listing explains that it “offers additional living space with its own outdoor areas and water views.”
“This property’s biggest draw is its blend of country music history and its massive 2,500 square feet of outdoor living space,” Trowbridge said, per Mansion Global. “Between the vintage interior character and the practical additions like the shop and shooting range, the property offers a rare mix of cool factor and functional country living.”
The Property is Found in Lindale, Texas
“Texas is always home and the music that came from our great state is the music that built me. Big lone star love to all that have supported me all these years,” Lambert wrote on Instagram after being inducted into the Texas Songwriters Hall of Fame in February.
Lambert’s childhood home is found in Lindale, Texas, which is located around 90 miles east of Dallas. That star graduated from Lindale High School in 2002, and still owns “the Pink Pistol boutique—which happens to be located on the city’s Miranda Lambert Way—and attached to the boutique is the tasting room for Red 55 Winery, established by Lambert and her family in 2005,” Mansion Global explains.
“Visitors come from all over the world to experience the quintessential country charm that inspired Miranda,” according to Visit Lindale. “Her deep love for her hometown is evident in numerous local ventures, including the Pink Pistol boutique, Red 55 Winery, Ponderosa Pour House, and MuttNation Station adoption center.”
