Maggie Baugh’s connection to Keith Urban has been the talk of the country music world since the two shared a stage earlier this year. Fans wondered whether the rising musician might become a regular part of Urban’s “High and Alive” tour. Now, new details reveal exactly what’s next for Baugh — and how Nicole Kidman is moving forward after her split from the country superstar.
Maggie Baugh Won’t Return to Keith Urban’s Tour
According to TMZ, Baugh won’t be rejoining Urban for any upcoming stops on his tour. The outlet reports that there are “no plans” for the 24-year-old singer to appear again after her brief onstage stint sparked fan speculation.
A source told the outlet that the decision “has nothing to do with the rumors or headlines” about Baugh and Urban. Instead, the call was made for logistical reasons. “Maggie was never part of the tour band,” the insider explained. “She stepped in for one show in Chicago when Natalie Stovall couldn’t perform, and she also played a private Vegas event with Keith.”
Stovall, who also performs with Runaway June, remains Urban’s primary utility player. While Baugh has performed with Urban before this tour, sources say fans shouldn’t expect to see her back in the rotation anytime soon.
After the performance drew attention due to Urban’s newly announced split from Kidman, Baugh briefly went quiet online before returning to promote her upcoming album. The source added that Urban “had nothing to do with” the project and “hasn’t heard it.”
Urban, 57, has not addressed the split or the speculation linking him to Baugh.
Nicole Kidman Is Focused on Family and Work
While Urban and Baugh’s professional future remains separate, Kidman is staying focused on what matters most. A source close to the actress told People that she’s “keeping it positive” and leaning on “the two things that matter most to her: her family and her work.”
“She isn’t someone who dwells on regrets — she believes everything happens for a reason,” the insider shared. “She has a great attitude and feels very grateful for her life.”
Another source told Page Six that Kidman, 58, is “sad, but moving on” following her 19-year marriage to Urban. The couple’s separation became public this summer, and Kidman officially filed for divorce on September 30, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
“She’s sad and moving on with her life — and making sure her kids are taken care of,” the insider said. Kidman continues to care for the couple’s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, while Urban remains on tour.
