Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban Finalize Divorce

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have officially finalized their divorce in a Nashville court on Tuesday, January 6, US Weekly reports.

The outlet detailed that, based on court documents, neither Kidman nor Urban will pay alimony or spousal support. Kidman is also listed as the primary parent of her and Urbanโ€™s two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 15, but they have agreed to waive all rights to child support.

As for their property, everything will be divided by mutual agreement, and each party will keep what is currently in their possession.

Inside Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s Agreement Regarding Their Children

Kidman is listed as the primary parent to their two daughters, with Urban having โ€œparenting timeโ€ every other weekend.ย Specifically, the children will spend 306 days a year with Kidman and 59 days a year with Urban.

PEOPLE further added that the agreement states that the two are required to “behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.”

“They will not speak badly of each other or the members of the family of the other parent,” the agreement states. “They will encourage each child to continue to love the other parent and be comfortable in both families.”

Nicole Kidman Initially Did Not Want To Separate

News broke that the two had separated in September 2025 after 19 years of marriage, with Kidman filing for divorce, citing ย โ€œirreconcilable differences.โ€ At the time, US Weekly also spoke to a source who said that it “wasnโ€™t Nicoleโ€™s decision, and she is devastated.โ€

โ€œIt was too far gone. Nicole had been trying to get them to work on their marriage and did not want this to get out to the public,โ€ the source added. โ€œShe didnโ€™t tell many friends what was really going on with them and was holding this in for months.โ€

The source explained how Kidman and Urban were “not on the same page,” stating that they are “moving in two different directions, and their worlds are not overlapping as much as they once did. The distance between them had grown more obvious recently.โ€

Following the split, Urban was rumored to be involved with his guitarist,ย Maggie Baugh, but those rumors were shut down by Baugh’s friend and fellow musician, Alexandra Kay.

“โ€œTheyโ€™re stirring up rumors about Maggie Baugh, and Iโ€™m like, โ€˜Sheโ€™s a good friend of mine and I know thatโ€™s absolutely not true,'” Kay said onย Taste of Country Nightsย on October 22.
