While returning to film “Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair” must have felt like a family affair for the cast — which includes Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek as well as Christopher Masterson and Justin Berfield — the premiere was an IRL family event for the titular star of the show (and “Dancing with the Stars” alum) Frankie Muniz.
That’s due to the fact that the star showed up to the event with his wife, Paige Price, and the couple’s five-year-old son, Mauz Mosley Muniz. Although all three looked fabulous, it was little Mauz who stole the show.
Mauz Smiled for the Cameras in a Burgundy Velvet Blazer
When Entertainment Tonight shared a video on Instagram that showed Frankie, Paige and Mauz posing at the premiere, they noted that “[i]t’s safe to say, Frankie Muniz’s 5-year-old son, Mauz, is looking sharper than anyone on the ‘Malcom in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair’ carpet. 🥹”
That’s hard to argue with considering the fact that the little guy wore an eye-catching ensemble that included a burgundy velvet jacket, crisp white shirt, snazzy bowtie and super-cool Converse shoes.
Standing in front of his parents with his hands clasped together in front of him, Mauz posed like a pro while smiling at the cameras.
Frankie Talked About Mauz ‘Being a Part’ of the Experience
GettyFrankie opened up to People about “his mini-me” getting a glimpse at his career, saying, “I don’t know if it’s weird to show your kid stuff that you did, but obviously I’m proud of it. But I love that he got to experience being a part of it.”
“I’ll always have the photos of my family in front of some Malcolm in the Middle stuff because they weren’t obviously around when the show was on 20 years ago,” he added. “So, [it’s a] really, really cool moment.”
The star also discussed what’s changed since becoming a dad, saying, “I know it kind of sounds cliché to say, but what you think is important in life, the things that you really focus on, to me, until you have a kid … so many people say that. ‘You have no idea.’ Even being on set and my son being there, I want to make him proud.”
“I’m doing it for a show, I’m doing it for the producers, I’m doing it for the other actors — but I’m doing it for him,” Frankie continued. “This is a weird kind of perspective that I have on everything. I love having him here.”
