The Jonas Brothers Take ‘The Burning Up Tour: All Over Again’ Across North America

The Jonas Brothers are taking “The Burning Up Tour: All Over Again” across North America this fall after announcing three August shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.

Burning Up for You

The tour announcement comes on the tail of the “Camp Rock 3” premiere and the Jonas Brothers being inducted as Disney Legends at D23 this past weekend.

The first dates of “The Burning Up Tour: All Over Again” are set for this upcoming weekend at MSG and will continue next month in Boston on Sept. 25 and conclude right before Christmas on Dec. 21 in New Jersey, the brothers’ home state.

More than a decade later, the brothers are reimagining their 2008 “Burning Up Tour,” which celebrated the release of their third album “A Little Bit Longer” and Disney Channel Original Movie “Camp Rock.”

The Jonas Brothers announced the tour on Instagram today, saying in the caption, “We can’t wait to bring THE BURNING UP TOUR ALL OVER AGAIN across North America. It’s a celebration of the songs, the memories, and everything that made the burning up era so special, ALL OVER AGAIN.”

Franklin Jonas, the youngest of the Jonas Brothers, will serve as an opener at select dates. Kevin Jonas’ brother-in-law and Deleasa will serve as a pre-show DJ and opener for all the dates. Will Ferrell‘s son Magnus Ferrell will also be joining the tour as an opener at select dates. All Time Low will also join the tour as an opener at the Nov. 18 show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Presale for the tour begins on Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. local time. Public onsale opens Friday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can visit the Jonas Brothers website for more details.

Becoming Disney Legends

“The Burning Up Tour” serves as another celebration of the Jonas Brothers’ beloved Disney era.

From their “Camp Rock” movies, “JONAS” TV series, concert specials and recent Disney+ Christmas film, the Jonas Brothers shaped a generation in the late 2000s.

To honor their contributions to Disney, the Jonas Brothers were inducted as Disney Legends at D23 on Aug. 16 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. The ceremony was also live-streamed on Disney+.

Fellow Disney Channel alum Vanessa Hudgens paid tribute to the band, saying, “It seems like just yesterday we were all just kids running around the Disney lot. And now look at us, we all have kids. I remember watching the three of you and just being in awe of your connection.”

With both humor and grace, the brothers accepted the award. Upon walking on stage, Joe joked, “Thank God, we didn’t take that Nickelodeon deal.”

Nick added, “When we think about what it means to be Disney Legends, we think about hard work, determination, timing and good luck, of course.”

The brothers in unison, while wearing Mickey ears, continued, “And one more thing, absolute loyalty to the mouse.”

During their speech, the Jonas Brothers also thanked fellow Disney Legend inductee and former Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger.

“And to Bob Iger, who we’ve always considered family,” Joe said. “which is how we hope he sees us when he does his estate planning.”

Kevin concluded thanking the rest of the fellow inductees, saying, “We are so unbelievably proud to join this extraordinary class of Legends. You’re all amazing and incredible and we are truly honored.”

To end on a humor note, Nick added, “To our great-great grandchildren, we’re doing just fine.”
