“Game of Thrones” alum Emilia Clarke, a.k.a. Daenerys Targaryen, has made a name for herself in the acting world and the fashion scene. She showed her fans why the latter is true when she showed up to the Global Gift Gala London 2025 at the Kimpton Fitzroy Hotel on November 1.

Appearing as the Honorary Chair for the night, Emilia opted to wear an Alexander McQueen dress for the event, according to Parade. A black full-length ruffled piece that featured a flowing tail that pooled around her feet, the gown also boasted cutouts along the chest and sides that were filled with sheer lace.
Wearing her hair down and flowing into waves over her shoulder, she also wore pearl earrings. With just enough makeup to accent the ensemble, she looked absolutely lovely.

“I’m a secret hardcore fashion girl,” she told British Vogue in October. “I have adored fashion for as long as I’ve been alive, and I’ve been poring over Vogue since I was, like, six.”
“I’m sort of in awe of it all,” she added. “There are now entire rooms in my house that have become additional wardrobes. I care deeply, deeply about clothes. I bloody love it.”
Emilia Shared ‘the Best Piece of Fashion Advice [She’s] Ever Been Given’
Fortunately for those who might want to mimic Emilia’s style, she willing to offer a few words of fashion-related wisdom.
“Over the years, I’ve learnt the difference between what I appreciate and what suits me, which are sometimes two different things!” she told Harper’s Bazaar UK while laughing. “It’s why I love a photoshoot, because I get to wear amazing things and the photographer is always incredible and makes it work. But largely, I feel my most beautiful when I’m having a good time. I was with my friends at dinner last night, surrounded by people I love, and I felt really confident and beautiful — way more so than at any fancy event.”
Beyond that, she’s shared a key tidbit when it comes to nailing fashion.
“The best piece of fashion advice I’ve ever been given is to get stuff tailored,” she said. “I’m five foot two, and it’s a problem because nice clothes are usually designed for tall people.”
She continued by saying, “What we wear matters so much: it can transform your mood and make you feel different.”
