Gordon Ramsay took to social media this Thanksgiving to wish the people of America a great day, but also to post about the many things he’s thankful for in his life — and, rather hilariously, one thing he isn’t thankful for at all.
The 59-year-old British celebrity chef, restaurateur, television presenter, and writer shared the post on his Instagram account with his 19.5 million followers on Thursday, November 27.
The post contained a reel of six photographs, most of which comprised the most important things in Ramsay’s life. However, the last one took a surprise turn that made a lot of people laugh.
Gordon Ramsay Isn’t Thankful for Bobby Flay
Gordon Ramsay’s post was captioned as follows: “Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in America 🦃 Here’s a few people I’m thankful for 🙏.”
The first image was a picture of Ramsay himself, with a text overlay that said, “Things I’m thankful for.” The second image was of his “amazing wife.” The third image was of his “incredible kids.” The fourth image was of his “great friends” (with David Beckham and Guy Fieri pictured as the examples). The fifth image was of his “amazing baking mentors” (with “Next Level Baker” stars Carla Hall and Candace Nelson pictured). But the sixth image was of Food Network chef Bobby Flay and had a text overlay that humorously read, “Not him.”
Ramsay and Flay have a long-standing but friendly rivalry that is both a competitive and collaborative one. It’s due to their opposing television networks and different culinary styles.
While they take part in challenges like burger battles and steak comparisons, they also show each other mutual respect. In fact, Flay recently visited Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant in Las Vegas for his new podcast. Sometimes, Ramsay even praises Flay!

Guy Fieri, who featured in one of Ramsay’s images in the post, commented, “👏👏👏 happy Thanksgiving brutha!!”
Another follower wrote, “😂😂😂 Happy Thanksgiving Ramsay fam!”
Food Network chef Darian Bryan said, “Not Him” 🥱😂 Happy Thanksgiving great man.”
Someone else chuckled, “Bobby catching strays 😂.”
Another famous chef, Nick DiGiovanni, couldn’t help laughing at Ramsay’s Bobby Flay image and wrote, “The last slide 🤣🤣🤣.”
We hope Gordon Ramsay, his family, and his friends (and Bobby Flay!) all had a wonderful Thanksgiving 2025. One thing’s for sure, they’ll undoubtedly all have been suitably nourished!
