Holly Ramsay, the daughter of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, turned heads on her wedding day with a stunning, royally inspired wedding dress that echoed the elegance of both Kate Middleton’s and Grace Kelly’s iconic bridal looks.
The bride’s choice — a custom gown by luxury designer Elie Saab — was rooted in tradition and classic romance, and perfectly suited the grandeur of her ceremony at Bath Abbey on Dec. 27, 2025.
Ramsay, 25, told British Vogue that she wanted a gown that felt both traditional and modest, with elements that honored bridal couture classics.
Holly’s Wedding Look
The result was a lace-covered long-sleeved design featuring a full skirt and a sweeping circle train — attributes perfectly suited for the abbey’s dramatic setting and reminiscent of royal wedding aesthetics.
The bridal look was completed by a delicate lace veil, Amina Muaddi heels gifted by her husband, Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty, and a rare shell-shaped Chanel mini bag she tracked down online.
“I’ve always loved Grace Kelly and Kate Middleton’s gowns: that beautiful high neckline, super feminine,” Ramsay said of her inspiration. “It makes me feel very princess-like.”
Her vision tapped into the timeless appeal of royalty-inspired bridal fashion — an aesthetic that has influenced weddings around the world for decades.
Bath Abbey, with its towering Gothic architecture and centuries-old history, provided a breathtaking backdrop that complemented her bridal style.
Holly opted for a gown with such presence and tradition — one that matched both the location and the significance of her moment.
“The aisle at the abbey is 65 metres,” Holly told the outlet. “It’s so grand and so beautiful… I knew I needed something long!”

But the fashion celebration didn’t end with the ceremony.
For her first dance at the reception — held at Kin House in Wiltshire — Ramsay chose to wear her mother Tana Ramsay’s wedding dress from 1996.
The silk gown with a V-neckline and pearl details fit beautifully without alterations, blending sentimental family heritage with her own bridal style on one of the most memorable nights of her life.
Holly Says Her Dad Still Gets Emotional
In addition to dishing on all details of her gorgeous wedding, Holly shared her famous chef father Gordon still gets emotional when thinking about her wedding.
“Dad cries every time I talk about the wedding,” she told the outlet.
She added, “The other day I was asking him which car he and I would take to the church, and he welled up immediately.”
