Except for a few hiatuses during the season, new episodes of “MasterChef” 2026 will air each Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes will be available to stream on Hulu the next day.

For the “MasterChef” season 16 premiere, we will find out more details of what’s in store for this “Sweet 16” season.
As of now, we know the theme for this upcoming season will be Global Gauntlet. The amateur chefs will be focused on flavors from around the world. The contestants will be tested on their ability to cook diverse international dishes. They will need to move beyond the standard American fare.
In the spirit of the World Cup coming to America this summer, “MasterChef” is brining homecooks representing four worldwide regions: the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, and Africa. Each region will have five aprons available, so 20 chefs will be moving on past the audition rounds.
For “MasterChef Global Gauntlet,” Gordon Ramsay will return as host and judge. He will be joined by celebrity chef Tiffany Derry and restaurateur Joe Bastianich.
Night 1 Auditions
For the premiere episode, we are going to see heritage, heart, and high stakes collide. It’s the first night of auditions, and the spotlight will first be on Europe.
