All around Hollywood, celebrity kids are following their parents’ footsteps and becoming so-called “nepo babies.” For Natasha Perry (née Bure), she’s following that trend and becoming an actress like her mom, Hallmark alum Candace Cameron Bure, but is making sure her mom knows how appreciative she is.
In fact, at the faith-based Movieguide Awards on March 5, Perry almost brought her mom to tears when she accepted her award for Best Actress in a Television Performance for “Timeless Tidings of Joy,” a Great American Family holiday TV film that they both starred in together.

GettyAccording to Parade, the “Full House” alum got misty-eyed during her daughter’s tribute onstage.
“I share this award with my beautiful mother who I’ve seen on this stage so many times, and I’m so inspired by you,” the 27-year-old said. “It’s such a gift to be able to work with people that you really love and even more special to do it with a parent and I’m so grateful.”
Perry also gave a sweet shoutout to her husband, “Good Luck Charlie” star Steven Perry, whom she married in September 2025.
“Thank you so much to my amazing husband, who’s an angel,” she gushed. “I love you, thank you for inspiring me and pushing me as a human being and as a creative.”
“I really couldn’t do any of this without you and I’m so thankful,” she concluded.
In the movie, Cameron Bure plays Ally, a woman who’s just inherited her Grandma Joy’s (Perry) handmade letter-press tidings from the 1940s. Before she can sell it, however, she travels back in time and sees where her grandmother’s passion really began.

On Instagram, Perry shared some pictures of her at the awards show in a gorgeous baby pink A-line midi-dress with silver embellishments.
“Bigg smiles because this was such an incredible/fun/unexpected surprise at @movieguide awards! ❤️” Perry wrote in the caption. “Such a beautiful evening and very honored to even be apart of it!!! 🫶🏼”
Cameron Bure proved she’s a proud mom in the comments. “You’ve worked so hard for so many years,” she wrote. “Congratulations baby, it was well earned 👏🏼👏🏼. I love you so much ❤️💖💐.”
Her husband also gave a show of support. “My star!!!” he wrote.
Also in the comments is former Hallmark star Danica McKeller. “Congrats again! 😍” she wrote.
