Candace Cameron Bure Shares Love for Her Family

Bure and her husband, Valeri Bure, are parents to three children, Natasha, Lev, and Maksim, but their home was also filled with extra love from their pets. This includes Candace’s beloved Rottweiler named Boris.

Bure has long been a lover of animals, and her role as D.J. Tanner on “Full House” saw her interact with many animals. However, Boris held her heart. In an episode of “My Pet Tale,” she spoke about her dog. “His head is three times as big as mine,” Bure said, Today reports. “He’s just all cuddles with our family. He’s the best.”

She continued, “Boris makes my life better because he just loves me. He loves me on my good days and on my bad days. He doesn’t care what I look like or even if I smell!”

When Boris died in August 2023, Bure paid tribute to him with a heartfelt post on Instagram. She shared clips and photos in a video montage as a loving tribute to their dear pet. In the caption, she wrote, “Life isn’t the same without you. Boris. You will forever be with us in our hearts and memories- you brought us so much love.”

Fans flooded the post with loving messages. “Ohhhh no. Just found out today. Boris passed. Ugh worst ever loosing them.. May I ask how old and what happened?” a comment reads. “He was the most beautiful thing ever. I’m sorry for your loss. I just lost one of mine and seeing this was just so sweet. May gods light warm your heart,” another person wrote.

A third commenter shared, “Omg Boris! My heart is broken. I am so sad. I am so sorry. Sending you love, strength, prayers and lots of hugs.”
