Hallmark Channel is ringing in the new year with a full-day celebration that blends country music charm and cozy holiday favorites. New Year’s Eve belongs to former coach on “The Voice,” Blake Shelton, as the network rolls out a movie marathon inspired by his beloved “Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas” franchise, before keeping the festive spirit alive into New Year’s Day with a lineup packed with Hallmark Christmas classics fans love to rewatch.
Blake Shelton Movie Marathon on New Year’s Eve

What are you looking forward to watching this New Year’s?

Like another person who commented earlier, I too, won’t watch any of the Hallmark or other channels gay movies (or any other gay programming on any channel). I change the channel when those come on. I will say though, that I absolutely LOVE the old, traditional, Christmas classic movies of Hallmark & other channels!! I’m all in for a heart-felt, nostalgic, traditional, wonderful, fun & happy New Year’s and everyday celebration! We were traveling Wednesday to see family and I did watch some of Hallmark’s lineup Wednesday while traveling. I look so forward to the New Year’s Day lineup even more (Thursday). My Christmas movie favorites are the old, classic, feel-good, traditional Hallmark Christmas Movies!!
I was very, very sad and upset when Hallmark changed the program director/casting personnel & started changing the programming to fit an agenda of a very few select people. Why change for the worse what was already so great?!?! Now it’s not so great!! My husband & I will watch the good movies and not watch the bad movies (on any of the channels). My friends are the same way.
A friend and I were discussing the “Haul Out The Holly” and the other sequels to that and other similar movies and shows, and we both said that those are too over the top, over-done, too silly of movies and shows and they are not for us!! PLEASE go back to the old, tried & true programming with the old actors that made Hallmark so successful for so many years, until the changes were made (not for the better)!! I miss the old, traditional Hallmark channels so much!! I have to watch other channels when Hallmark’s bad movies and shows are on. When I have to switch channels, it makes me really miss the old, tried and true Hallmark actors & channels!! I do still love Hallmark a lot though, especially the old reruns of my old favorites. Thank you SO much for those!! There may be a few people with a different view than me but that’s their opinion and this is mine and my husband’s opinion. We can all agree that Hallmark used to have the very BEST Christmas movies ever!!
I agree.
