December is unsurprisingly jam-packed for the Queen of Christmas movies, Hallmark Channel superstar Lacey Chabert. But in between Chabert’s latest movie premiere (“She’s Making a List”), appearing for a weekend at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City, shooting a historic new Christmas movie at Disney World, and chasing multiple mischievous Elfs on the Shelf at her house, Chabert is also making time to give back.
On December 15, 2025, the actress teamed up with Raising Cane’s owner and founder Todd Graves to help give away 120 cherry red bikes and matching helmets to kids who are part of the Boys & Girls Club of Hollywood. It’s part of the restaurant chain’s effort to donate over 4,000 bikes and helmets to kids across the U.S. before Christmas.
Raising Cane’s Founder Says Lacey Chabert Was His #1 Pick to Partner With for Bike Giveaway
Graves has built his fried chicken fast food chain over the last three decades, with his “One Love” mission of helping others a core principle of the business. At a press conference before the Los Angeles kids received their bikes, he said that he started the annual giveaway because he still remembers how amazing it felt to receive a bike for Christmas when he was a kid.
“I got a bike when I was your age, Christmas morning,” he told the kids gathered around the stage, “and it was just the most awesome thing to me. … So I just want to share some of that joy.”
Multiple celebrities have appeared at Raising Cane’s bike giveaways across the country, but Graves said Chabert was his “number one pick” to partner with “because she is the Queen of Christmas, I love her movies … and not only does she love sharing joy around the holidays with all the great movies, (but) she loves to give back.”
GettyChabert, who is mom to 10-year-old daughter Julia, whom she shares with her husband David Nehdar, participated in her first Raising Cane’s bike giveaway at a New York City event in 2024. At the December 15 event, she shared how “thrilled” she was to be part of the event again.
“It’s truly a pleasure to partner with you again, to be here for such a joyful occasion … especially this time of year,” she said. “I love the holidays, I love making Christmas movies, but really it’s about the spirit of this season, and being there for one another and spreading as much joy as we possibly can.”
At the event, Chabert and Graves took photos, signed autographs, shared hot cocoa, took pics with Santa, and helped the kids get fitted for their bikes and helmets.
Giving Back is a Huge Priority for Lacey Chabert
HallmarkChabert has a passion for charity work and celebrating those who give back to their communities. The second season of her unscripted series “Celebrations With Lacey Chabert” aired its second season on Hallmark Channel in the spring, and is available to stream via Hallmark+.
In the heartwarming series, she and a team of event planners find do-gooders to celebrate with a surprise party, giving them a chance to hear how much their dedication has meant to others.
“You know, these are folks who deserve to be recognized and have the spotlight shine on them,” she told the Philadelphia Tribune. “They deserve to be honored with this fantastic party.”
The recipients are also surprised with a check from Hallmark Media to further their missions, which Chabert said is “essential” to the organizers because “many of these groups started out of personal funds.”
