What happens when Tyler Hynes’ devoted fans — lovingly known as the Hynies — get to see the Hallmark superstar shaking his…well…heinie? Naturally, they lose their ever-loving minds. Footage captured by filmmaker Jennifer Silliman, who’s heading up production on a documentary about Hynes’ fandom, has understandably sent them over the moon.
Silliman told EntertainmentNow she was in the right place at the right time on December 18, 2025, to capture Hynes participating in a hilarious booty-shaking challenge at the Hallmark Christmas Experience in Kansas City. As soon as she shared the video online, fans swarmed the post with cheeky comments, swooning over what they’d just seen.

Silliman was in Kansas City to shoot footage with fans for the Hynies documentary, due for release in 2027, and was front and center when Hynes participated in a Reindeer Games challenge that required him to use his, um, assets.
The “Christmas Above the Clouds” star and other Hallmark hunks had boxes tied around their waists, filled with plastic balls and a cut-out hole on top. The goal was to move around so much that all of the balls in their boxes would pop out, aiming to be the first with an empty box.
Silliman had the ideal vantage point, filming as Hynes shook, danced, gyrated, twerked, and basically set the Westin Hotel ballroom on fire as his teammate, fellow Hallmark star Rachel Boston, cheered him on. Afterward all was said and done, he smirked and apologized to the camera.
Silliman told EntertainmentNow, “As the director of the Hynies documentary, I’ve learned to always keep the camera rolling — because Tyler Hynes has a habit of delivering iconic moments when you least expect them. I just happened to have the best seat in the house for that one.”

GettySilliman posted the video of Hynes to social media on December 19, with Ludacris’ “Money Maker” as the soundtrack, and wrote in the caption, “Hallmark did NOT warn us about this part of the reindeer games. 👀”
Her video has quickly racked up thousands of likes and hilarious comments from fans on Instagram and Facebook, including one that said, “CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY OMG 😂🥵”
