Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson Address Concerning Claims About Her Health, Urge Fans to Take Action

Former HGTV stars Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson are warning fans about false stories circulating about Egypt’s health. They’re asking their followers to help fight back against the misinformation.

Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson Address Concerning Health Reports

On August 9, Sherrod and Jackson took to Instagram to ask for fans’ help in stopping the spread of damaging misinformation about them.

“If folks could just direct their energy and efforts for good … 🙈,” Sherrod wrote in the caption. “Help us family by going to Facebook and reporting this page and any others as fake and malicious.”

She added, “Thank you. I love you and there is nothing you can do about it. 💋”

“Mike and I wanted to let you know something, because we told y’all this for years,” she shared in the video. “But, folks still want to believe what they want to believe.”

Sherrod continued, “If you don’t hear it from us first, it didn’t happen. It’s not true.”

“So there’s a page on Facebook … and, we need your help to go on Facebook and get Facebook to take this page down,” she continued. “Because when I say the damage that they are doing and the thousands of people that are believing the stories … I mean literally, my children asked me if I had cancer because this story has traveled so far and wide and it’s made up.”

Mike added, “Just pay attention … again, if it doesn’t come from us … there’s a lot of AI.”

“AI — it makes it look real!” Sherrod added.

In the next video, the “Married to Real Estate” star gave some examples of the misinformation being spread, including fake quotes from her. One post noted “Stay Strong — we’re praying for you” and another explained that she’s “having health challenges.”

Another post reported that Sherrod has brain cancer.

“They’re doing very harmful … that’s a dangerous post because that’s not true,” she said of another post.
