Fans who have been missing Egypt Sherrod and Mike Jackson since HGTV canceled “Married to Real Estate” just got their first look at the couple’s new show. The former HGTV stars shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of one of the projects they’re currently working on.
Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson Share First Look at Their New Show
On August 28, Sherrod took to Instagram to share a clip of herself and Jackson discussing a home renovation project.
“Sometimes a setback is a setup for a QUANTUM LEAP. We are back to business,” she wrote in the caption.
Sherrod added, “New show loading! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽”
In the clip, Sherrod shares her vision for a kitchen space as Jackson listens to her recommendations.
Fans flooded the comments section with excitement about seeing Jackson and Sherrod back on TV.
“When and where, as in network,” one fan asked.
Sherrod responded, “Stay tuned!!! Not announced yet.”
When another fan asked, “Please share more … what channel,” the former HGTV star teased, “Not telling yet.”
“I will most definitely be tuning in. Gonna watch ‘Married to Real Estate’ again when I get a chance,” another fan noted.

Egypt Sherrod & Mike Jackson Have 2 New Shows Coming in 2026
During an April 2026 interview with USA Today, Sherrod and Jackson revealed the names of two new shows they have in the works: “Home Abroad with Egypt and Mike” and “Deserving Design.” Both shows are set for release in 2026.
“These shows reflect all the things that are important to us,” Sherrod explained. “For those who have watched us for years, they know we believe in giving back and paying it forward. That is what we are passionate about.”
She added, “At the core, these projects speak to our desire to help people, to build legacy and to use real estate and design to build impact.”
In a May 2026 interview with OK! Magazine, Sherrod gave a few more details about their upcoming shows.
“One show is called ‘Home Abroad.’ So I’ve been traveling around, and you’ll obviously find out more about that soon, but it’s been amazing,” she explained. “It’s been great to travel with my husband, see the world and still do what we love.”
Sherrod also mentioned that the other show was in production, noting, “I’m very excited about that.”
She shared that filming these shows is quite different from their HGTV show. “It’s actually great because ‘Married to Real Estate’ almost took a year to film 12 episodes,” Sherrod noted. “For us, we literally can do three seasons in a year now, so it’s definitely more contained.”
She added, “And we can still live life in between. It still follows our life, so for those of you guys that miss us, we miss you too — and we’ll be back.”
