HGTV Star Reflects on Her ‘Impossibly Hard’ Year: ‘It’s Been Humbling’

HGTV star Jasmine Roth encourages fans to celebrate all of life’s “little moments,” as she looks back at her “impossibly hard” year.

Jasmine Roth Remembers 2025’s Little Moments

“Send this to someone who needs a reminder that their accomplishments this year may not have been ‘résumé-worthy,’ but they sure were ‘life-worthy,’ and THAT is what really matters,” Roth shared via Instagram on Monday, December 29, alongside a video of her daughter seemingly taking her first steps.

Roth continued, “What a year! It’s been humbling, awe-inspiring, peaceful, and impossibly hard all at the same time.”

The “HELP! I Wrecked My House” star recently celebrated her daughter Darla’s first birthday, a milestone moment after the infant was born premature and spent 15 days in the NICU.

“I’ve worked so hard to build my happy, and I can honestly say it’s working. Celebrating all the little moments, remembering to be present, focusing on the good, and congratulating myself for doing my best – these practices have become my focus (and obsession) and I love sharing my journey with all of you,” Roth continued in her Monday reflection.

Jasmine Roth Remains Hopeful for Show Renewal

Roth has been through a lot of change in recent months. From becoming a new mom to moving her family to Utah, Roth’s plate has been full.

The one thing she’s still waiting for, however, is to learn the fate of her beloved HGTV series.

“We don’t [know if we’ve got a season six]. If you follow the news, you see that there’s a lot going on with HGTV and Warner Bros. Discovery right now,” Roth shared in an interview with Daily Mail published on Friday, December 19. “If I get another opportunity to do that, whether it’s with this show or with another show, I’m here for it.”

She added, “I’m excited to see what 2026 brings and what HGTV looks like five, six months from now because I honestly don’t know what it’ll look like, but I hope to be a part of it.”

Whether “Help! I Wrecked My House” returns for a sixth season remains unclear, but either way Roth is thankful for the opportunities HGTV has given her.

“It’s been one of the best opportunities. I love it. I think that it’s really cool to share what I do and be able to just be a creator and then have other people use my ideas,” she told Daily Mail. “From that standpoint, I’m just so honored to be a part of a creative community. I think it is so cool helping people. If we’re not helping other people, what are we doing?”

  2. I’m so looking forward to your new season. I love your designs and the things that inspire you. You’re one of my favorite shows on HGTV. Plus, you are just a down to earth hard working Mom juggling working and raising your adorable girls. God bless you and keep up the good work. I know it isn’t easy!
