HGTV’s Nicole Curtis, 49, confirmed in an Instagram post on Saturday, Feb. 7, that new episodes of “Rehab Addict” will begin airing on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
“Straight from Detroit —the new episodes drop Wednesday …was told now or never -so you get them now. And can you do me a huge show of support by sharing this. Sending it to friends, tag a friend, a stranger ❤️,” she captioned her post.
Why ‘Rehab Addict’ Season 9 Was Pulled Off Air
HGTV confirmed to People in December 2025 that the network “plans to air the remaining episodes of ‘Rehab Addict’ Season 9 in Q1” of 2026 after the season shockingly ended without releasing all of its episodes.
In an Instagram post in July of that same year, Curtis addressed her decision to pull “Rehab Addict” prematurely.
“I made the executive decision to shelf the rest of our new shows,” she said, adding that it took up “a lot of hours” of her time.
Curtis then followed up in October of that same year on Instagram to elaborate on how she wasn’t happy with the unaired episodes and came up with a fresher idea, leading her and HGTV to agree on concluding the season at a later time.
“This is unheard of, typically, because production is production and talent is talent and no one would spend money when they don’t have to,” she wrote. “However, I’m the talent and I am the production and I rewatched these and thought—I have a different idea now. So, I took some rug money (not drug money, my actual rug money) and I reshot a ‘few’ things.”
Fans React to the Return of ‘Rehab Addict’
Curtis confirming that “Rehab Addict” will return to HGTV this Wednesday received many excited reactions from her longtime fans.
“For the love of everything sacred! The wait was awful,” commented one fan on her recent Instagram post.
“Yahoo!!!!!! My husband and I are sooooo excited! Your show is what we all need ❤️,” said another.
“Looking forward to it 🔥🔥top notch ❤️,” added a third.
“Rehab Addict” originally aired in 2010 on the DIY Network and moved to HGTV in 2014. Curtis took a 3-year break from creating and airing new episodes in 2022, though, telling People that she needed to prioritize her personal life at the time. “I had a setback in my life that just rocked me to the core, and it was one of those moments where I thought, how do I get through this one?” she told the outlet.
