As the new season of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” approaches, one of the show’s stars has dropped a major bombshell about one of the most iconic homes in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, the shore house.
The revelation has fans buzzing as they speculate what this news could mean for the future of the beloved reality TV landmark. One of the series’ stars reveals they have big plans for the property.
A ‘Jersey Shore’ Star Reveals Big News
The cast of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” sat down for an interview with Page Six, to dish about the upcoming final season of the beloved MTV series.
Cast members Mike Sorrentino, Angelina Pivarnick, Nicole Polizzi, Denna Cortese, and Vinny Guadagnino reflected on the many changes that Seaside Heights has undergone since they first began filming the reality TV series in 2009.
The cast shared that some of the clubs featured on the series were no longer operating. Then, Sorrentino dropped a bombshell his castmates didn’t see coming.
“I was thinking about buying the shore house though,” he declared. “I was gonna see if Danny’s selling.”
Danny Merk is the current owner of the “Jersey Shore” house. His Shore Store is attached to the property, facing the boardwalk. It is where the cast worked throughout the first six seasons of the original series.
Has Mike Sorrentino Already Bought The Shore House?
Mike Sorrentino confirmed that while he is interested in purchasing the iconic “Jersey Shore” property, he has not yet made a deal with its owner, Danny Merk.
Angelina Pivarnick responded to Sorrentino’s news. “I would love for him to sell that shore house to you.”
Sorrentino added that despite the changes the boardwalk has undergone in almost two decades since the original “Jersey Shore” first aired, he still has a deep affection for Seaside Heights. “I love Seaside,” he declared.
Sammi Giancola added, “I think its still fun and the boardwalk is still fun.” Nicole Polizzi said, “They demolished Karma [the iconic club featured in many episodes of the MTV series]. So that was sad.”
Polizzi recalled some of the famous businesses on the boardwalk, citing one in particular where she got “wasted, then arrested.” That incident was famously documented on the series with the reality star yelling “where’s the beach?” to onlookers.
According to a press release by Paramount, “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” will air its final 18 episodes this season. “For longtime fans, the final episodes offer both nostalgia and new memories. A tribute to the friendships, inside jokes, iconic moments, and cultural imprint that only the ‘Shore’ can deliver,” it reads.
“The all-new season is packed with fist-pump-worthy milestones and unforgettable moments. From pregnancies and baby showers to bachelorette parties, gender reveals, ab reveals, births, birthdays, weddings, and more. The series will air across MTV globally,” the press release concludes.
While the original series is ending its run on MTV, it reportedly isn’t cancelled.
The new season of “Jersey Shore: Family Vacation” airs on MTV beginning Thursday, May 7, at 8 p.m. ET on MTV.
