Pop star Olivia Rodrigo confirmed she’s currently working on her third studio album in a TikTok video on Friday. The video was a partnership with Amex where she answered questions about her life after the Guts World Tour and how she spends her time in the studio.

In this Amex ad posted on her personal TikTok, Rodrigo not only confessed she’s working on a new album, she said the fan reactions to certain songs on the Guts World Tour “really informs the way” she writes music. Fans can look forward to that influence with the next batch of music.
Rodrigo discussed the main way in which her tour wrap party may be unique: she and her band had a card game tournament, as they love playing cards on the road. Specifically, they play cambio, also known as golf, according to the “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” actress. “It’s the most fun card game I’ve ever played,” she said.
Later in the video, Rodrigo discussed how her favorite in-studio meals have changed with each passing album. With “Sour,” she ate a lot of burritos, but that switched to tacos while writing “Guts.” For her new album, Rodrigo’s food preferences have changed entirely, as her favorite meal is salmon now.

GettyUnfortunately, very little is confirmed about Rodrigo’s next studio album. Her first two albums were both titled with four-letter-words, neither of which were song titles, so it’s very likely Rodrigo’s third album will follow suit.
According to Elle, Rodrigo has frequently been photographed wearing red in recent months, leading to fan speculation that the color will be a “visual anchor” for the next album. Cosmopolitan reported that the red color comes into play with a symbol Rodrigo is a fan of: ladybugs. As ladybugs also represent luck, Cosmo reported the four-letter word as a fan-theorized third album title.
That all being said, Rodrigo is remaining tight-lipped regarding this album, it’s it’s unlikely we’ll get any leaked information until the star is ready to share.
