Olivia Rodrigo loves to support her fellow musicians, and she’s been particularly taken with Audrey Hobert’s debut album, as she recently told Nylon. Hobert, a singer-songwriter known for collaborating with Gracie Abrams, released “Who’s the Clown?” in August, 2025.
Olivia Rodrigo’s Musical Taste
Hobert isn’t the only artist Rodrigo has listened to recently, according to her Nylon interview. When asked about whose concerts she’s recently attended, Rodrigo listed Coldplay, saying the concert was “so spectacular” and adding, “Chris Martin is just such a lovely person.”
Rodrigo also saw Nine Inch Nails in September, 2025, which she described as “epic.” As far as female singer-songwriters go, Rodrigo has seen Dua Lipa and Chappell Roan in concert. Regarding the “Hot To Go” singer, Rodrigo described them as friends and said Roan always puts on “an incredible show.”
Although she hasn’t seen Hobert in concert yet, Rodrigo would clearly like to see the up-and-comer perform. When Nylon asked, “Is there an artist whose show you’ll be buying tickets to soon?,” Rodrigo said Hobert, in part because they’ve “hung out … a few times,” and Rodrigo thinks the songwriter is “just the loveliest girl ever.” Regarding Hobert’s recent album release, Rodrigo said, “I’m playing her album over and over and over again in my car.”
Olivia Rodrigo’s Next Album
GettyAlthough Rodrigo has spent a lot of time attending concerts and listening to other people’s music, she’s also been hard at work creating her next album. Rodrigo confirmed her third studio album in a TikTok video partnership with American Express.
Rodrigo has remained tight-lipped on her yet-unreleased music, but she did say getting fan reactions during her “Guts” world tour “really informs the way” she’s been writing new songs. Although her first two albums utilized four letter words as titles, Rodrigo has not said whether or not she will stick with that tradition.
In addition to spending time in the studio and finishing up her “Guts” era, Rodrigo has booked some high-profile events. On November 8, 2025, Rodrigo will appear a the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, although we don’t yet know if the “drivers license” singer will perform, present an award, or both.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will film live in the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, and fans can watch the event live on Disney+. ABC will re-air the taping on January 1, 2026.
