Nine-time Grammy winner Billie Eilish was exiting her Miami show when a scary incident took place. As the pop star walked past a group of fans, one of them forcefully grabbed her and yanked her towards the crowd. See the shocking video below.
Eilish appeared to be stunned, but okay as she was helped by security. The singer looked back over her shoulder and frowned, looking uncomfortable after the incident.
Fans Defend Billie Eilish After Being Grabbed at Miami Show
Fans swarmed the comments of a Billie Eilish fanpage on Instagram to defend the star. One wrote, “That is so horrible! I hope they got that person that grabbed her!”
Another showed their support by writing, “I love you, Billie Eilish.”
Another video showed the incident from a higher angle.
TMZ says they learned from the Miami Police that the person who grabbed Eilish was ejected from the arena. The performance, which took place October 10 at the Kaseya Center, was the first in a planned three-part series of shows during the starlet’s Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour. The Miami New Times says the show was sold out, and was the first time Eilish had performed in Miami in five years.
The Times says the crowd “went ballistic” as Eilish appeared in a 69 jersey and baseball cap, opening the show with “Chihiro.”
Billie Eilish Is Not the Only Artist to Be Snatched by a Fan
Back in September 2013 during a stop on her Mrs. Carter Show World Tour in Brazil, Beyoncé was grabbed by a fan while performing “Irreplaceable.” The megastar almost fell into the crowd after the audience member wrapped her into a hug, but she stayed incredibly calm and asked security not to intervene.
“Hey! Calm, calm, calm. It’s alright,” said the “Single Ladies” singer. “He just got excited,” she added. A few moments later, Beyoncé shook the fan’s hand and asked him his name.

Back in 2019, Eilish spoke to MTV Australia about her fame, saying, “This is weird. I feel like this is a simulation.” She went on to address her fans, saying, “I don’t want you to feel like, ‘Oh my god, I’m never gonna get to meet her.’ I hate that.”
Eilish then joked, “I don’t mean come to my hotel, or or follow me around the airport. I just mean, I can go like this and you can grab me,” while reaching out her hand. The Miami fan who snatched Eilish clearly took her kindness too far.
