Over the last 12 days, investigators searching for Nancy Guthrie have scanned the neighborhood and questioned her Tucson, Arizona, neighbors.
On Wednesday, February 11, videos began circulating of FBI agents going door to door speaking with neighbors.
According to local news outlets KVOA and KOLD, investigators are asking homeowners for security footage from two days in January.
KOLD reported, “FBI is asking people to check their cameras for video from 9 p.m. to midnight on January 11 and from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 31.”
The outlet also revealed that “a suspicious vehicle” was seen around 10 a.m. on January 31, which was the last day Nancy Guthrie was seen.
New Footage of Suspicious Man Released
A new video has been shared of a man who resembles the individual seen on Guthrie’s front porch.
According to TMZ, “The FBI is lasering in on the man in the video, who is both wearing and carrying backpacks … right around the time of the kidnapping.”
The latest footage comes days after the FBI released images and video obtained from Guthrie’s doorbell camera from the night she went missing. In the original footage, a masked, armed individual was seen tampering with her doorbell camera.
While it has not been verified that the individuals in the two videos are the same person, the new footage shows a man carrying two backpacks as he tries to open a locked gate, the outlet reported.
The footage was recorded on a resident’s security camera just before 2:00 a.m. five miles from Guthrie’s home.
During a press conference last week, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos revealed Guthrie’s security camera alerted a person was detected at 2:12 a.m.
Search Continues for Nancy Guthrie
Guthrie was last seen on Saturday, January 1, after a family dinner at daughter Annie Guthrie’s home. She was reported missing around noon the following day, after friends noticed she was missing from her regular church service.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department, along with the FBI, has been following all leads and begging the public for help in finding the 84-year-old.
Savannah Guthrie shared a moving tribute to her missing mom on Thursday, February 12.
“Our lovely mom. 💛” she wrote alongside a montage video, sharing footage from her childhood with her mom and siblings, Annie Guthrie and Camron Guthrie. “We will never give up on her. Thank you for your prayers and hope.”
