BREAKING: FBI Release First Photos of Suspect In Nancy Guthrie Disappearance

The FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department have released their first photo of the suspect in the abduction of Nancy Guthrie.


Savannah Guthrie Shares Photos On Social Media

Four photos were released by authorities, and Savannah Guthrie shared all of them on social media along with a passionate message.

“We believe she is still alive. Bring her home,” she wrote. “Anyone with information, please contact 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or the Pima County Sheriff’s Department 520-351-4900”

Many comments were left on her post, showing support.

“Praying for you and the family. Bring her home 🙏🏽,” one person wrote.

“BRING HER HOME NOW,” another person shared.

“I can’t even imagine for an 84-year-old woman how absolutely terrifying this is. I am so sorry for your family. Praying they find her as soon as possible,” someone commented.


Pima County Sheriff’s Department Releases Statement

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department also provided a lengthy statement, as well as releasing the photos.

“Over the last eight days, the FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department have been working closely with our private sector partners to continue to recover any images or video footage from Nancy Guthrie’s home that may have been lost, corrupted, or inaccessible due to a variety of factors, including the removal of recording devices. The video was recovered from residual date located in backend systems,” the statement began.

“Working with our partners – as of this morning, law enforcement has uncovered these previously inaccessible new images showing an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance.”

According to CNN, he has been described by FBI Director Kash Patel as “am armed individual,” adding that the suspect appears “to have tampered with the camera.” Patel also shared the video of the suspect walking up to the door on social media.

“Additional recovered footage, from the same camera – at the same timeline the morning of Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance. This footage is just before the original video shared, with the individual approaching Nancy Guthrie’s front door,” he wrote.



Nancy Guthrie’s Door Camera Was Disconnected

According to CNN, the surveillance cameras at Nancy’s home were recovered from “residual data located in backend systems,” despite her cameras being disconnected at 1:47 a.m. on the night she disappeared.


FBI Offering $50,000 Reward

For any information leading to the recovery of Nancy as well as the arrest of anyone involve in her abduction, the FBI is offering a $50,000 reward, the FBI reiterated in a post on social media.

“New images released today show an armed individual appearing to have tampered with the camera at Nancy Guthrie’s front door the morning of her disappearance. The FBI seeks information that will lead to the identity of this individual,” the post read.
