The women of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” are back in action, currently filming their seventh season. While juggling busy schedules and plenty of drama, castmate Meredith Marks took a moment to share a heartfelt tribute to her husband, Seth Marks, in honor of his birthday.
Taking to Instagram on April 27, Meredith shared rarely seen photos of the couple from their early years together, showcasing that the married pair still have the same spark and deep connection that has kept their love going strong over the years.
Meredith Marks Shares Never-Before-Seen Photos Celebrating Husband, Seth Marks’ Birthday
RHOSLC star Meredith Marks went deep into the archives, sharing touching throwback photos of herself, her husband, Seth Marks, and their three children to celebrate his birthday this April.
Meredith kicked off her birthday post with an unrecognizable photo of her and Seth in what appears to be their early days together. In another snap, the couple is surrounded by Reid, Brooks, and Chloe when they are just kids, while another photo shows a throwback of Seth holding a small puppy.
The reality star also included a rare photo of the couple on their wedding day in August 1996, where Meredith is seen feeding Seth a piece of their wedding cake.
Of course, Meredith also shared more recent photos of the two, including photos of them spending time together in New York City and attending events.
“Happy birthday to my incredible hussssband! I love you more than words can say. Thank you for being my biggest supporter, traveling the world with me, and creating the most beautiful family together. I cannot imagine this journey without you by my side. You are my everything💖💖,” Her caption read.
Acknowledging her sweet post, Seth wrote in the comment section, “Every day, every breath… it’s you. Always has been. TY for making me a really lucky dude.”
Meredith & Seth Will Celebrate 30 Years of Marriage This August
Meredith and Seth have come a long way in their marriage. The couple has been open about their marital struggles on RHOSLC, including in the debut season, where they revealed they had separated after over 20 years of marriage.
At the time, Meredith shared that there wasn’t just one reason for their separation. “Over the years, it just broke down. We moved many times. We kind of were uprooted — I was trying to start my company, he was running his business, we had the three kids. There was just no communication and hostility built, and built and built, and we just got so totally overwhelmed that we just were completely disconnected,” she said (via People).
Seth filed for divorce in 2019, but four months later, he dropped the petition and the two reconciled, which was also captured on camera. Although the couple faced marital issues in season 5 because of Seth’s work obligations, they managed to work through them.
“It’s a miracle we recovered from where we were because we were on the path to divorce. Seth filed. I mean we were going there, and it didn’t end up happening because we were able to get into therapy and fix everything,” Meredith told Life & Style in 2024.
The couple will be celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary this August. Last year, Seth shared an incredibly touching Instagram post marking their 29th anniversary, reflecting on their journey together.
“29 years ago today, I found my Forever, and I’ve been crazy in love ever since. In the words of Donna Lewis, it truly “feels like a timeless dream,” his caption began.
“@meredithmarks you’ve given me purpose, and together we’ve created 3 miracles. You and RBC are my heart and soul. One of the greatest teachings you’ve given me is this: when we engage with our partner in presence, LOVE reveals itself as the only true energy and truly does conquer all. Here’s to 29 more years of riding the waves of true love together, laughing in the moonlight, and never letting go. #truelove,” he wrote.
