When it comes to Bravo couples, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Porsha Williams has made waves with her new girlfriend, Patrice “Sway” McKinney. This is thanks in part to the several lavish vacation photos they’ve shared online. Now, ahead of her RHOA debut, the “Housewives” fan-favorite has just shared new images of them together.
Williams took to Instagram on the afternoon of April 12 to proclaim McKiney as “her baby.” The RHOA star said in a caption, “Out with the old and in with the new! Ya’ll finna see my baby @sway_thepro on #Rhoa tonight. Another crazy episode tonight at 8 pm! Only on @bravo #WLW #LoveWins.”
Notably, this comes after Williams introduced the man she was previously dating on the RHOA season 17 premiere.
Porsha Williams Recently Discussed Her Relationship & Teased RHOA Season 17
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 17 premiered on Bravo on April 5. In promotion for the show, Williams interviewed with US Weekly, discussing not only the season but also her relationship with McKinney.
Regarding her bond with the businesswoman, Williams told the outlet, “You just know when you know. I felt comfortable. I felt led more toward her and our relationship and what we were building.”
In terms of her mindset going into RHOA season 17, Williams stated, “I just wanted a clean slate, and I wanted to have a good time. I wanted to be open to new friendships… and have this season feel like a breath of fresh air.”
Additionally, she was asked who she leaned on the most during filming. Notably, production on the new season happened on the heels of her divorce from Simon Guobadia being finalized.
According to Williams, “Phaedra [Parks ]and I have a very trusting friendship. So do Cynthia [Bailey] and I. I know she probably misses some of the OGs. I always look for her and Phaedra; we have our little camaraderie of doing this for so long.”
Bravo Recently Released a New ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Promo
Ahead of the second episode of RHOA season 17, Bravo released a new promotional video. In it, the cast, including Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, and Angela Oakley, are introduced to McKinney for the first time.
Naturally, all of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” stars are surprised by the union, as Williams had just introduced them to someone else she was dating in episode one. Williams says at the end of the clip, “People had a lot to say about me being with women in the past. I had a lot to say about me being with women in the past.”
She then called it “the worst-kept secret.”
