Fans have been awaiting the official trailer for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 17, and Bravo has finally delivered. Not only does the RHOA trailer deliver new faces to the cast, but it also teases changing dynamics ahead of its April 5, 2026, premiere.
According to Deadline, the new season features returning RHOA stars Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Angela Oakley, and Kelli Ferrell. Singer K. Michelle and restaurateur Pinky Cole are also joining. Fan-favorite Cynthia Bailey will be a friend of the show.
The RHOA Season 17 Trailer Features a Doll Theme
GettyBravo released the trailer on February 24. The clip begins with a voice-over saying, “Once upon a time in Atlanta, there lived a group of beautiful dolls who really tried to be good. Like, really tried.” As the voice-over pauses, Parks can be seen wearing a green ensemble.
From there, the trailer cuts to newcomer K, who seems to be discussing Parks, saying, “I don’t trust no lawyer who don’t practice the law.” The other newbie, Cole, then made another comment about lawyers and “dead people,” referecing Parks’ mortuary business. After this, Parks can be seen reacting, questioning, “I eat dead people?”
The trailer continues, and Morton can be seen shopping for luxurious jewelry before saying, “Tell me how expensive I am right now,” before the store attendant saying, “$180,000.” Next, fans get a glimpse into Williams’ dating life, which on the show, will include both a man and a woman. However, in real life, she and the man are no longer together.
This section of the trailer also teases Williams’ girlfriend seemingly having a conversation with the RHOA star about potentially settling down together instead of “playing the field.”
There’s also a proper introduction to K, who many fans will know both her music and from “Love & Hop Hop.” She introduces her husband, Dr. Sims, as well as discusses having recently signed to a country music record label.
The rest of the trailer shows Cole inside of her Slutty Vegan restaurant, a Dallas cast trip, and the ladies experiencing various ups and downs.
Porsha Williams Previously Teased ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Season 17
GettyWilliams appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” in January 2026 for the announcement of the “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th” cast. While on the show, she teased season 17 of RHOA. According to her in the clip, “This season of Housewives is so good. I had the best time with most of the girls.” Andy Cohen then noted that the season’s cast “feels like a real group.”
She then said, “Listen, I feel like last year we were still trying to learn each other.” She also stated that this season is so good that she may need to host watch parties as she did in the earlier years of the show.
I watched this from the very beginning. I’ve stopped watching as the only person I knew was Porscha & she’s somewhat boring. You want to bring in Cynthia Bailey as a “friend”……she’s SO boring and irrelevant.
Not sure if I’ll be watching this next series.
