“Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Mary Cosby suffered a tragic loss on February 23 when her son, Robert Cosby Jr, passed away. Following that, she reportedly decided aginst begining production with the rest of her cast. Now, more than a month later, insiders say she has returned to film season seven of RHOSLC.
Season seven of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” is also expected to feature Heather Gay, Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Angie Katsanevas, Bronwyn Newport, and Britani Bateman, a friend of the show.
Reports Say Mary Cosby Has Resumed Filming RHOSLC Season Seven
Production was intended to begin on season seven of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” near the end of February 2026. However, due to Cosby Jr.’s passing, it was delayed, and the cast, aside from Cosby, then began filming in early March.
Now, sources with ties to production tell TMZ that the fan-favorite housewife has now joined the rest of her cast as they film the events for RHOSLC season seven. This comes after the outlet previously reported that Cosby had no plans to leave the show, which she joined in 2020 as one of the original cast members.
Cosby Jr.’s cause of death is yet to be determined.

GettyFollowing Cosby Jr.’s death, according to E! News, he was laid to rest on March 7. Readily, the full RHOSLC cast attended the funeral to pay respect to the 23-year-old. Additionally, Andy Cohen shared on “Radio Andy” that RHOA stars Cynthia Bailey and Shereé Whitfield, and RHOBH’s Kyle Richards, were also in attendance.
While he could not go to the funeral due to personal obligations with his children, he said, “I got a full report, though, and I hear it was an absolutely incredible ceremony. I love it that they went. I think that is so kind. They are real ones, those three.”
Cohen added, “I hear that the service was so uplifting and so moving and absolutely, kind of, rapturous. And Mary was on one, I mean, in a spiritual way. She was spiritually on one, let me say that.”
Cosby Jr’s obituary has also gone public, with him being remembered as “a bright, loving and gifted young man whose compassion and gentle spirit touched everyone he met,” per PEOPLE.
It also read, “Robert loved his parents with a fierce and unwavering devotion, and his mother was his closest confidante. His first and greatest love, however, was for God. His faith guided him throughout his life, and he shared his journey — its triumphs and its trials — with courage and sincerity, touching countless lives.”
