Conner Floyd has a big reason to celebrate, in addition to his upcoming “Days Of Our Lives” debut.
The actor, who previously starred in “The Young And The Restless,” wed his longtime partner Carly Frei in a “fairytale” ceremony, People reports.
Floyd And Frei Wed In West Hollywood
The couple described their “old school, Old-Hollywood” wedding as “a weekend full of so much love and fun.”
“Especially having family and friends who live all over, this was the one time we could get everyone together from all walks of life,” Floyd explained.
The nuptials took place at the London Hotel, West Hollywood, in the presence of 220 guests.
Frei, an esthetician and skincare expert, stunned the crowd in a bridal look curated by LOHO Bride owner Christy Baird.
The ensemble comprised of a skirt, veil and scarf by Danielle Frankel, in addition to a Wiederhoeft corset. She then changed into a mini-skirt for the reception.
“I just wanted to do a mini version of my wedding dress, which came out even better than I could have ever imagined,” she said.
Meanwhile, Floyd opted for a suit by Todd Snyder.
Following the ceremony, officiated by the couple’s “dear friend” Hayes Beyerdorfer, Floyd and Frei departed for a Bora Bora honeymoon.
“If we could take the most glamorous parts of our lives and all the things that we love and fit them into a dream, fairytale weekend, that’s exactly what this wedding was,” Frei gushed to People.
Floyd added, “To think that we get to spend a lifetime together from this moment on just makes both of us so excited for what the future has to offer.”
What To Expect From Conner Floyd’s “Days Of Our Lives” Role
Conner Floyd announced he would be joining the “Days Of Our Lives” cast in an Instagram video for the Peacock soap.
“I’m very, very happy to announce that starting in April, I will be airing as the one and only Chad DeMira. And man, I’ve been waiting to say that for a long time,” he said.
“I’m very thankful to be a part of the ‘Days’ family. Thank you for this opportunity.”
Audiences were left reeling when Floyd’s character Philip “Chance” Chancellor was killed off in “The Young And The Restless.”
However, Floyd is excited to gain a new set of fans as Chad DeMira.
In the video, he said he was “very honored” to be stepping into the role.
“I understand there’s a weight to that. I’m ready to carry the name, and I know I’ve got big shoes to fill. I’m up for the challenge. I’ve been bringing it. I will continue to bring it for you guys,” he continued.
“Thank you for all the love and support that I’ve gotten so far. You guys have been very welcoming and kind, and I truly appreciate that. See you in the Brady Pub!”
Floyd will make his “Days Of Our Lives” debut on April 21.
