After months of speculation about where and when music icon Taylor Swift and NFL superstar Travis Kelce will get married, TMZ reported new jaw-dropping details on June 5, 2026. According to the outlet, the megastar couple have invited over 1,000 guests to their wedding at New York City’s Madison Square Garden.
InTouch also reported on June 5 that a source confirmed the stars’ wedding venue as MSG.

GettyAccording to “sources with direct knowledge,” per TMZ, Swift and Kelce will exchange vows at MSG on July 3 in front of 1,100 to 1,200 guests. The outlet noted that the couple has “gone to great lengths to ensure privacy, and that includes communicating with invitees by text, rather than physical invitations.”
Why would they choose MSG over other venues? According to TMZ, Swift and Kelce like the fact that there are no windows, meaning there’s no chance outside photographers can get shots of the wedding. In addition, celebrity guests can arrive and depart via underground parking without fans or paparazzi seeing them.
TMZ also reported that security preparations are underway with the New York Police Department and private security companies, including closing off streets around the stadium.

Kelce is sure to have lots of famous friends on his side of the aisle, too, including many of his Kansas City Chiefs teammates — especially quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany. Coach Andy Reid is a slam dunk, and, of course, his famous brother and podcast co-host — former NFL great Jason Kelce — will be there with his now-famous wife Kylie Kelce.
While TMZ is reporting up to 1,200 guests, Naughty But Nice columnist Rob Shuter reported on June 3 that Swift wanted a smaller affair, noting, “Taylor wants to look around the room and recognize every face. She doesn’t want people there simply because they’re famous.”

Swift and Kelce started dating in July 2023, after he went public with his desire to meet the music megastar, give her a friendship bracelet, and maybe go out on a date. They chatted privately for weeks before hard launching their relationship that September, when she attended her first Kansas City Chiefs game.
