A celebrity wedding planner is setting the record straight on recent buzz surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s reported wedding plans.
Speculation had linked the couple to a June 13 ceremony at the Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, but those claims have now been publicly addressed.
The rumors gained traction after social media posts suggested Swift and Kelce were planning a high-profile wedding at the luxury seaside venue.
However, the planner overseeing an event at that location on the same date confirmed the couple is not involved.
Wedding Planner Responds to Taylor Swift Wedding Location Rumors
On April 4 an Instagram post from Wedding Chicks, fueled online discussion by suggesting Swift’s wedding could take place at Ocean House, a luxurious Rhode Island property.
Tara Guérard, a luxury event designer, responded directly to speculation about Swift and Kelce’s rumored wedding date and venue. Guérard is scheduled to coordinate a wedding at the Ocean House on June 13.
“I am the wedding planner for June 13th at the Ocean House in Rhode Island!” Guérard wrote in a comment. “Sorry to let you all know, Taylor is not my bride this weekend! Boo!”
The Ocean House is located near Swift’s home in Watch Hill, which contributed to the speculation. The date also drew attention because 13 is widely known as Swift’s favorite number.
Swift and Kelce’s Wedding Plans Remain Private
Despite the rumor being addressed, details about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding plans remain largely private.
According to Us Weekly, the couple has been involved in planning together.
“They’re both involved and making decisions together,” a source said. “They’re keeping things light.”
The same report suggested that Rhode Island remains a possible location, with potential plans involving multiple venues, including Swift’s property and nearby locations.
“The guest list grew, so the ceremony and private gatherings associated with the wedding will be split between the venues,” a source said.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Consider Guest List and Timeline
Swift and Kelce are also reportedly finalizing details such as the guest list and timeline. Sources indicated the couple plans to host a relatively intimate event.
“It won’t be a huge wedding, but there will be many celebrities,” one source said.
The guest list could include several of Swift’s longtime friends and Kelce’s close connections. However, reports suggest the couple has scaled back earlier plans for a larger celebration.
“They’ve gone back and forth between inviting everyone and keeping it small and private,” a source said. “As of now, they’ve scaled it down.”
