While “Fall 2: Deadpoint” has only just made it to theaters, it doesn’t stop people from looking for where and when it will stream online. Movie theaters are expensive, and you want to make sure a movie justifies that cost. If you’re not too sure, then you’re going to wait for it to be available on a streaming platform.
The good news is that the “Fall” sequel will head to a streaming platform. We even know which platform it will go to first and have a rough idea of when that will happen. Then there’s the second streaming home, which is confirmed by the production studio that created it.
‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’ Pay-1 Streaming Home
The first place “Fall 2” will head to is STARZ. This is a Lionsgate movie, and that studio owns the STARZ platform. All of the movies head to that premium cable channel first, usually within around 20 weeks of the theatrical release.
With the movie coming out in theaters on Sept. 2, 2026, it suggests that you only need to wait until January 2027. As we have 20 weeks in mind, it suggests that Jan. 20, 2027 will be the streaming date, although STARZ tends to release content on Fridays, so you could have to wait a couple of days.
Will ‘Fall 2’ Go To Netflix?
GettyWhile the first streaming home is STARZ, the thriller will make the move to another platform. Sadly, that won’t be Netflix right away, as it’s Amazon that made a deal with Lionsgate. Prime Video will get the Pay-2 window, although the specific window has never been confirmed.
Most of the time, it takes around five or six months to go from STARZ to Prime Video. That suggests “Fall 2: Deadpoint” will be on Prime Video in the summer of 2027.
After that, it could head to Netflix. That’s when the licensing deals open up, allowing other streamers to license it. It’s arguably because of Netflix that “Fall” became a huge success in the first place, so it’s sure to get the sequel at some point in time.
What Is ‘Fall 2: Deadpoint’ About?
GettyStarring “Outlander: Blood of My Blood’s” Harriet Slater and “Queen Charlotte’s” Arsema Thomas, “Fall 2” is a sequel to the first “Fall” movie. Another survival thriller, it follows Jax and Luce, who are grieving the loss of Shiloh from the first movie. While you would think they would learn from Shiloh’s mistakes, when they find her book that had all her planned locations for other stunts, they decide to head out to them.
One of those is to plank walk on Mount Kwan in Thailand, and off they go. As you would expect, they end up in a perilous situation as they deal with rock slides and betrayals. They also harbor their own secrets, and one of them could be deadly.
The “Fall” sequel has ended up with mixed reviews from critics and audiences. It currently holds a 54% Rotten Tomatoes score from critics, with one critic giving it a 3/5 score, saying, “The Fall franchise might not be elevating the survival thriller to new heights, but its cheap thrills don’t leave you hanging.”
Another shared that “is an example of a gimmick film that almost works, and it would if the pacing and concept were just a bit more refined.”
A third movie is in the works, as it was ordered at the same time as the sequel, and the two were filmed back-to-back. The end of “Fall 2” offers a cliffhanger that hints at the next destination.
