“Bachelor in Paradise” stars Chris Conran and Alana Milne confirmed their marriage, revealing that they eloped in July in a beachside ceremony. Conran and Milne, who have been dating for four years now, announced the details of their new marriage to PEOPLE. The two have since shared content from their wedding on their Instagram accounts.
Conran and Milne met during season 7 of “Bachelor in Paradise” after featuring in season 16 of “The Bachelorette” and season 25 of “The Bachelor,” respectively. Both left “Bachelor in Paradise” during week three of their season.
Chris and Alana Eloped This Summer
Conran and Milne eloped on July 18, taking to the shores of Laguna Beach, California to tie the knot. Their dog, a speckled corgi named Whiskey, also attended the ceremony as the couple “couldn’t imagine doing it without Whiskey.” They selected Laguna Beach as their wedding location as it was not only a place the two adore, but also close enough for them to bring their furry companion along in the car.
The couple explained that they wanted the day to be “incredibly intimate.” They focused on making the special experience “purely about us celebrating our love” as they look forward to their future together. The two did not reveal their marriage until five months after the ceremony, showing that privacy played a key role in their special day.
Milne wore a stunning floor-length white dress that complemented the beautiful backdrop of white waves and a sandy beach. Conran sported an off-white suit.
“It felt surreal and so meaningful,” said Milne as she reflected on the awe-inducing setting of their wedding.
The Wedding was a ‘Dream Come True’
Milne described the ceremony as “a dream come true” and “truly the best day either of us could have imagined.” She elaborated that the ceremony was “centered completely on our relationship.” Milne emphasized the importance of focusing the day on her and Conran’s present and future.
Conran, meanwhile, praised Milne as not only a great life partner, but a great mother-to-be for their future children.
“I’m incredibly excited for our future and especially building a family,” he said.
He continued, saying that “Alana has so much love to give, and our kids will have the world’s greatest mother.”
Milne echoed her husband’s thoughts, reflecting on their five months of marriage. She described their time together as “such a blast.” She, too, looks forward to starting a family with Conran.
“He makes life better,” she affirmed.
The two ended their wedding day at AhbA, a bar and restaurant where they enjoyed champagne and carrot cake with Whiskey by their sides.
