When Bachelor Nation alum Daisy Kent announced that she’s engaged to her college sweetheart, Thor Herbst, she shared a collection of adorable photos showing the romantic proposal. Now, she’s shared a video in which she goes over all of the details of her engagement — including when she “blacked out.”
A day after the big moment, Daisy took to Instagram to share a “get ready with me” video showing her in a bathroom, wearing a white bathrobe, prepping for the day. In the video, she talks about the proposal, which happened during her vacation to Tuscany, Italy, with her now-fiancé.
Supposedly attending a wine tasting, Daisy said, “The bartender was totally playing the part, gave us a little bit of red wine, was telling us all this history about Tuscany. I literally have videos of me videoing on our wine tour, and then all of a sudden, we pull up, but we don’t pull up. We walk up this staircase.”
She continued, “And all of a sudden, the wine tasting guide guy, he backs up slowly, looks at Thor. And then I look at Thor. And then I look, and there’s a bunch of daisies and tulips, and it’s this really pretty grass area. And I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh, it’s happening.'”
Daisy Doesn’t Exactly Know What Happened Next
Although Daisy remembers what happened before and after that point, she doesn’t exactly remember what happened next.
In her video, she explained, “And then I blacked out, you guys. I don’t remember anything.”
Daisy Says She’s Living Her ‘Happily Ever After’
As Daisy continued to tell her friends, fans and followers all about the proposal, she added, “[Thor] literally got down on a knee. I glanced at the ring, and then I looked at him, and I was just, like, looking at him. And then I was like, ‘Wait, I didn’t even look at the ring!'”
“It was so funny after it happened, though,” she said. “We’re looking around and he’s like, ‘There was supposed to be a photographer here, but there’s not.’ And then I was like, ‘Oh.’ And then we look over and he was legit hidden in the trees.”
At that point in the video, Thor gives Daisy a kiss as she shows the camera her engagement ring and tells everyone, “Happily ever after.”
In the caption of her post, she wrote, “Gonna be a wifeyyy 🤭💍😭❣️”
