Daisy Kent may not have found her storybook romance on Season 28 of “The Bachelor;” however, she has found love offscreen. The former reality TV contestant has announced that she’s engaged to Thor Herbst.
Taking to Instagram to make the big announcement, Daisy and Thor popped up a joint post that showed them in a dreamy garden filled with white flowers and featuring stone walls in ruins, towering trees and sculpted hedges. They duo was apparently enjoying the scenery at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Italy, according to People.
In the first photo, the couple can be seen sitting in the grass together while looking at Daisy’s hand which is surely sporting a new ring. In the second photo, Thor can be seen getting down on one knee, while the third photo features a shot of Daisy through a camera. The final photo shows the pair sharing a kiss in the idyllic spot.
Friends, Fans & Followers Sent Their Love
When Daisy and Thor announced their engagement in an Instagram post, the comments were soon flooded with people sending their love.
“Yayyyy!!! So happy for you guys❤️ so exciting ❤️,” one person wrote.
Another person left a comment, saying, “😍😍 Best news ever ❤️❤️ so excited for this next chapter!!”
“AHHHH congratulations daisy girl!!! You deserve all of the love and happiness. I’m so happy for you,” someone else wrote.
Yet another fan of the news added, “My heart is melting ❤️ so happy for the two most amazing people out there. Love you guys so much!!”
That’s not to mention the follower who wrote, “Oh my goodness!!!! I have full body chills! So damn happy for you two!! Congratulations I love you both!! ✨✨🥹🥂💍💍💍🤍🤍”
Daisy & Thor Were College Sweethearts
Daisy may have found love with Thor following her time on “The Bachelor,” but it turns out that they knew each other before she appeared on TV. In fact, the two were college sweethearts, per People. They then reconnected in the spring of 2024 and fell in love.
In March, they revealed they moved in together and were living in Las Vegas. In a video posted to Instagram of the duo in the empty home, Daisy added text saying, “Us celebrating the first time in the new house.”
Unfortunately, when they popped open a bottle of bubbly, they had a little accident and ended up breaking Tiffany champagne glasses. Fortunately, someone in the comments noted, “My mom’s always said that glass breaking in the house is it simply absorbing negative energy. So it’s a good thing🥹 I’ve loved that perspective!!”
