Bachelor Nation is getting ready for what’s sure to be a stunning wedding as former “The Bachelor” contestant Daisy Kent prepares to tie the knot with her fiancé, Thor Herbst. Kent appeared on Joey Graziadei’s season 28 of the beloved dating series, where she famously self-eliminated before the final rose ceremony.
Since then, Kent found love outside reality TV. She and Herbst actually first met and dated four years before she appeared as a contestant. The pair later reconnected in 2024 and are now planning their magical winter-themed wedding set to take place this December.
Daisy Kent Reveals She’s Found Her Wedding Dress
GettyDaisy Kent just checked a major item off her wedding checklist! The former “Bachelor” season 28 contestant shared on Instagram on March 4 that she found her perfect wedding dress.
Kent shared several photos on Instagram showing her spending the day with her mom, Julie, sisters Josephine and Adeline, and close friends at The White Dress in Newport Beach, California. In Kent’s first snap, the reality star was wearing an ivory top and skirt, getting ready to find her perfect dress.
Kent even teased fans with a photo of her trying on a stunning, princess-style wedding dress featuring intricate lace throughout and an off-the-shoulder design; she was also wearing a long cathedral veil to finish off the look. Of course, fans don’t believe it was Kent’s exact dress, but it could mean she went for something completely different.
Other photos showed her spending time with her fiancé, taking playful photobooth snapshots, as well as enjoying the day with her loved ones on the water. She closed out the Instagram carousel with a sweet photo at the wedding boutique, holding a sign that she had found her wedding dress while her mom, sisters, and friends stood around her.
She captioned her sweet post, “found something special 🤍🤭.”
Kent Shares Details of Her Winter Wedding This Year
GettyKent and her fiancé are preparing for a winter-themed wedding. In a TikTok posted in October 2025, Kent shared that they were planning to find a venue in either Minnesota or Utah, with the latter being most important because it was where she and Herbst “rekindled our love.”
“The other thing is, if we do it in Minnesota or Utah, either way, people are going to have to travel for it. So we want a venue that’s not insanely far from the airport and has a bunch of hotels around it,” she added.
Kent also explained why getting married during the winter season was especially important to her.
“I never thought I wanted a winter wedding, but then my older sister had a winter wedding a few years ago and it was absolutely beautiful,” she said. “So stunning and magical. My parents also got married in the middle of winter.”
The former “Bachelor” star also shared that she expects her wedding to “be on the bigger side.”
“We’re thinking our wedding’s going to be on the bigger side because I have a lot of family and we have a ton of friends, especially from college. It’s honestly really nice that we have a lot of the same friends from college, but we have a very big college friend group,” Kent said.
