This ‘Bachelor’ Alum Ran the NYC Marathon, and His Time Was Impressive

Former “Bachelor” Joey Graziadei ran the New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 2, 2025, and his time was nothing to sneeze at. Joey finished the 26.219 mile race through all of New York City’s five boroughs in four hours, 29 minutes, and 58 seconds, according to Us Weekly. That means Joey averaged a 10 minute, 20 second mile for the duration of the event.

New York City hosts the world’s largest marathon, with over 55,000 people running this year, according to NPR.

Joey Graziadei’s Marathon Experience

Joey proudly posted on Instagram to celebrate his accomplishment, tagging fellow “Bachelorette” alum Tanner Courtad, who vied for Charity Lawson’s heart alongside Joey on “The Bachelorette” season 20. Tanner finished the race just two seconds after Joey.

The two showed off their medals for finishing the race, with Joey captioning the video, “We do hard things.” Celebrities and fans alike flooded the comments to show their support. Tay Lautner, wife of “Twilight” actor Taylor Lautner, wrote, “Congrats!!!!” The official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account, a show Joey won, also commented on the post, writing, “Yeahhh buddy!” followed by several clapping emojis.

Joey’s fiancée, Kelsey Anderson, was at the race to support her future husband, sharing multiple videos from the race on her Instagram story.

Joey’s decision to run the New York City Marathon isn’t surprising given how active he is. Not only did he win “Dancing with the Stars” season 33, he was a college tennis player who still coaches the sport. He also participated in the pro-am at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions.
