Katie Morton is engaged! Not only that, the Bachelor Nation alum — who you may have seen on Season 23 of “The Bachelor” and Season 6 of “Bachelor in Paradise” — said “yes” during an absolutely dreamy proposal with her love, Nick Garside.
Katie posted about the big moment on Instagram, writing in the caption: “A surprise trip to our favorite place turned into forever with my favorite person 🤍”
In the accompanying photos, Katie can be seen kissing her now-fiancé while she has a ring on her finger. The two embrace in another photo while hills and water can be spotted behind them proving that it was the perfect place to pop the question.
Katie Was Worried About One Part of the Proposal
In a second Instagram post that included a photo of the moment Nick got down on one knee, Katie admitted that she had one worry about the big moment.
“they say when you know, you know 🤍🥂,” she began in the caption. “I was worried once I had an idea that it was happening that I wouldn’t be able to be ‘surprised’ ..that I wouldn’t know how to respond. And ooooh boy was I wrong about that.”
“Nick, your words made my heart grow 3 sizes bigger and if only I could have the zoomies on a mountain without becoming a docuseries, I would’ve 💗,” she continued. “I love you.”
Friends, Fans, Followers & Fellow Bachelor Alum Were Thrilled
Katie and Nick may be excited about their engagement, and they’re definitely not the only ones. When the bride-to-be posted about the proposal on social media, plenty of people — from friends to fans, not to mention fellow Bachelor Nation alum — hopped onto Instagram to congratulate the pair.
