Michael Allio has never been one to hide his feelings, and this week he made it very clear where his heart is.
The former “Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise” star shared photos on Instagram from a wedding weekend with girlfriend Jade Marie Chapman, and the celebration clearly got him thinking about what could come next. Alongside the post, he wrote, “Let’s just say… this weekend had me thinking about wedding bells.”
He kept going from there. In the caption, Allio explained exactly what sets Chapman apart. “This beautiful human doesn’t just stand beside me… she understands me,” he wrote. “She sees the parts of me I used to keep guarded, and meets them with patience instead of fear. We still stay up on weekends until 4am talking just like we had when we first started dating. There’s no better feeling than being with your best friend.”
Chapman made her feelings just as clear in the comments. She wrote, “Nothing I want more than to make you BOTH my forever,” which appears to reference both Allio and his son James.
Michael Allio Says Jade Understands Him in a Deeper Way
That is part of what makes this relationship hit differently for Bachelor Nation fans.
Allio first won viewers over on Season 17 of “The Bachelorette,” where he shared his experience as a single father after losing his wife Laura to breast cancer in 2019. He later returned for Season 8 of “Bachelor in Paradise,” where he dated Danielle Maltby before the relationship ended.
Then came Chapman. When Allio hard-launched the relationship in January 2025, he said they had been friends since 2021 and that their connection had always felt right. Chapman is an esthetician and makeup artist with over a million Instagram followers.
Could Wedding Bells Be Next?
The wedding weekend clearly left a mark on Allio. He closed the caption by reflecting on what it felt like to watch love up close and connect that joy to his own relationship with Chapman.
That joy extends beyond just the two of them. Back in February Allio opened up about the bond forming between Chapman and his son James. He wrote, “I love Jade in a thousand quiet ways, but the one that stops me in my tracks every time is the way she loves James.”
