Adam Sandler has become quite well known for his laid-back, comfortable style, often spotted in oversized sweatshirts, t-shirts, and basketball shorts.
So, while it may have been a shock to some fans, the actor brought his signature style to the red carpet while supporting his wife, Jackie Sandler, during the Los Angeles movie premiere of her Netflix film, “Office Romance.” The romantic comedy, set for a June 5 release, sees Jackie portraying the character of Caroline, with Jennifer Lopez as the lead star alongside English actor Brett Goldstein.

The couple looked as though they were attending very different events as Jackie graced the carpet wearing a shimmering black mini dress featuring a dramatic keyhole-shaped cutout at the center, a design often associated with luxury designer Schiaparelli.
The actress styled the dress in a more modest way, pairing the mini dress with black tights and matching black heels.
Meanwhile, Adam stayed true to his laid-back style, bringing a pop of color next to his wife in an orange New York Knicks pullover, bright blue sweats, and green sneakers with purple laces.
Sandler, a long-time New York Knicks fan, may have still been celebrating the team’s latest victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers, which secured their spot in the NBA Finals.

According to InStyle, Lopez wore a vintage 2004 Atelier Versace couture gown from Lily et Cie, which featured a sweeping train. Her co-star, Goldstein, wore a cream suit jacket paired with a white button-down shirt and black pants for the event.
Sandler’s Wife Is Supportive of His Casual Style
GettyThe “Happy Gilmore” actor has become something of a style icon thanks to his laid-back fashion choices, even on the red carpet.
In an interview with Complex, Adam shared that Jackie fully supports him wearing whatever makes him feel most comfortable, even if that means showing up to a major movie premiere in a pair of sweats.
“My wife always was nice to me about my clothes. Even when we were young, others would say, ‘Would you put on something better than that? Your wife’s dressed so beautifully.’ My wife would say, ‘He’s comfortable like that, let him do that,'” Adam said.
In fact, during an interview with People for his “Love You” standup special in 2024, Adam addressed how it felt being a fashion icon for Gen Z. “You know, this is an accidental thing,” he shared, adding, “But here I am wearing goofy clothes, and I don’t know. I don’t think about it.”
