We had Night 2 of Hollywood Week on “American Idol” 2026 last night on ABC. Of course, this season Hollywood Week came with a twist, as the 127 hopeful singers and the “American Idol” season 24 judges weren’t in Hollywood, but in Nashville. At the end of Night 2, we had the Top 30 on “American Idol” season 24, but who had the best performances of the night on “American Idol” last night? Check out the videos below in our “American Idol” spoilers.
1. Julián Kalel
Julián Kalel got through his audition last season, but then never made it to Hollywood Week because of his mental health. Now he is here, and feeling proud of himself for making it here. He is feeling more well-prepared and confident.
For his performance, he sang “I Can’t Make You Love Me” by Bonnie Raitt. This is the first cover he has sung on the show, as he normally sings an original. He was nervous to connect to the lyrics, but he definitely made it work. This was a very strong performance, and his voice is so good. He makes you feel the lyrics of the song and just draws you in.
For the judges, Luke said we feel very big things for you in the future. That was just the first of many things, and we’re glad we get to watch.
2. Jesse Findling
He said he’s always known he can sing, but to get that validation from the judges was a huge feeling. For his performance, he is singing “Love In The Dark” by Adele. He said growing up, this was one of the songs that he wanted to sing on the show someday.
While he said the stakes were higher with going from singing in front of the judges to now singing in front of a room full of people. It didn’t seem to bother him, though, as he had a very solid performance. It started a little slow for me, but then he kicked in and showed off such control of his vocals. He got a standing ovation from the judges.
For the judges, Luke said he is so jealous of him. What a pro dynamic of singing, and he is so deserving of this time in his life. He is so excited to see his future.
3. Kyndal Inskeep
Kyndal said it usually takes a couple of songs to get comfortable when she normally takes the stage. Her mom sang worship at church, so her love of music came from her. For this performance, she sings “Human” by The Killers. She’s used to singing with her guitar, but she won’t have the guitar for this one.
I do love her voice. I think she has that indie-style voice, but she makes it work. She definitely got more and more pumped as the song went on. She was working the stage, but her hand movements were distracting to me.
For the judges, Carrie said she has such a cool voice. She loved how she switched it up and gave us a pop-rock vibe. She felt comfortable in both spaces.
