The remaining singers in the Top 20 on “American Idol” season 24 performed last night on ABC. This was the first chance for America to vote for its favorite artists. We got to see 10 more of the artists in the Top 20 on “American Idol” season 24 take the stage last night, but who had the best performances of the night on “American Idol” last night? Check out our picks from the Top 20 Night 2 performances and the videos below in our “American Idol” spoilers.

1. Rae

I’m sorry, but what? She sings “Respect” by Aretha Franklin, but puts a whole new twist on it. Her vocals were amazing and I just loved her stage presence and her amazing vocals. This was the second performance of the night, so just close the show now? Can anyone else compare?

For Keke, someone needs to ring the fire alarm because you just set the whole show on fire. Carrie said this was the missing ingredient. We always knew she could sing, but she can also entertain. Luka said you got my respect.

2. Keyla Richardson

Keyla brought Keke to tears during rehearsals. I think we were all feeling the same after this performance. What Keyla did last night was amazing. She took us to church with this performance. She was feeling every emotion of those lyrics and just turned it up 1000% for me.

For the judges, Lionel said he has never, ever had any contestant walk out on the stage and tear this place up like that. Keke said Lionel had to bring her back to life during that one. Carrie said she doesn’t think about what she’s doing. It’s just in the moment, pouring out of her.

3. Jordan McCullough

I lied, the third performance of the night came from Jordan, and his vocal was on-point. It was not over-the-top or meant to highlight anything other than his voice. He can sing!

For the judges, Lionel said to take a U2 song and turn it spiritual is a feat. Carrie said praise the Lord for all of this. He is so incredibly blessed. Luke said his vocal command. When he hit that first note, everyone paid attention.

4. Chris Tungseth

Sometimes you can be subtle, but make a big impression. That’s what Chris did here. He came back strong for me last night, as he has been lacking in the last couple of performances. This was a great song choice, and his vocals were so good. I just love his vibe.

For the judges, Lionel said enjoy that stage, you got the gift. Keke said he has a great voice and a great vibe. She wants to hear more of him. Carrie said he has this mysterious, sexy vibe that he doesn’t seem to know he has. If he can own that, they will eat it up.
