It was a special night on “American Idol” season 24 tonight on ABC. The Top 9 on “American Idol” 2026 were taking on Disney Night. That means some of your favorite songs from some of your favorite Disney movies will be sung tonight. Hannah Harper had one of those performances, as she has made her way into the Top 9 this season. Last Week on ‘American Idol’ Season 24
We had Rock & Rock Hall of Fame Night on “American Idol” 2026 last week. For her performance, Hannah sang “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac.
Hannah has definitely been a frontrunner this whole season. She has a following and can bring you in with her ability to sing these emotional songs. She has a great country voice and sounded great during this performance.
For me, Hannah just seems to have some kind of wall up. I’m sure it’s nerves, but she needs to break through that wall, and she could be the favorite to win this season.
Disney Night on Idol
She said she connects with the lyrics, but is worried about the choreography. Hannah said she froze during a performance a couple of weeks ago, so this is her redemption week. Jennifer told her to act like she was singing and dancing with her babies. Jennifer said moving on stage is outside of Hannah’s comfort zone, but this is her moment.
For her performance, she sings “Almost There” from “The Princess and the Frog.” We all know that Hannah can sing, but she’s so nervous up there. She let loose a little bit, but it wasn’t much. Just have fun with it! With a voice like that, if she can get over the nervousness, she would be a winner.
For the judges, Luke said he loved it. It made his heart smile. Lionel said whatever shoes you’re going to wear on stage, make sure you wear them in rehearsals. Otherwise, her performance was amazing. Carrie said she got dragged on this show for not moving enough. Now, she can’t not move. She is on her way and keeps getting more comfortable. Jennifer said everything they just said and more. She looks absolutely beautiful. She was natural and beautiful. She stood there, and she’s almost there.
