Top 7 Performances on ‘American Idol’ 2026
Last week on “American Idol” season 24, the Top 7 took on Taylor Swift Night. It was the first time on the show that the contestants were able to take on the iconic singer’s playbook. In addition, the Top 7 singers also sang a second song, which featured an artist from California.
For the night, we had special guest judge and Swiftie, Nikki Glaser. Since she knows everything about Taylor Swift and her music, it was a good choice, and she gave some solid feedback.
After watching some pretty amazing performances, it was time for the voting results. America had voted live during the show, and it was time for the Top 7 to become the Top 5. Ryan took the stage and delivered the results.
After America’s votes were tallied, we had to say goodbye to both Daniel Stallworth and Brooks Rosser. This one seemed to shock everyone, as the fans were definitely in an uproar online after the show. Everyone seemed to think Brooks was going to be in the finale, so it was shocking to see him eliminated so early.
Tonight on ‘American Idol’
For tonight, the Top 5 will take the stage two times to perform during the live shows. The “American Idol” judges — Carrie Underwood, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan — will be joined by some very familiar faces: Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson! Paul will serve as a guest judge, and Randy will serve as a guest mentor for the week.
The Top 5 will perform two times tonight before Ryan delivers the results. We will have the Class of 2006 Reunion, which will bring back contestants from the 2006 season of “American Idol.” They will be singing duets with the Top 5. Then we will also see a crossover with “Dancing With the Stars” for the second performance of the night.
Who Makes the Top 3 on ‘American Idol’
When all is said and done, the Top 5 will become the Top 3. Yes, we will know which singers will be singing in the “American Idol” season 24 finale when the night is done. So, which two artists will be eliminated tonight?
It’s definitely going to be hard to see two of these singers go home. I am torn on this one, but I think we have some standouts this season (Jordan McCullough, Keyla Richardson, and Hannah Harper). I think Braden Rumfelt has also been a standout, and he had a great week of performances last week. While looking online, I see his name a lot as a pick for the Top 3. It seems to be Jordan and Keyla, but then either Hannah or Braden completing the Final 3 selection.
Based on that, I will say that Chris Tungseth will be eliminated tonight. I am going to go with a second week of shocking results, as the second singer eliminated tonight on “American Idol” season 24 will be Hannah Harper. I think many people have her winning the whole show, but I think Braden is going to sneak past her for a spot in the finale.
