Former “Dancing with the Stars” professional Sharna Burgess has revealed which celebrities she would like to be paired up with if she ever returned to the popular dance competition.
In a revealing Q&A session on her Instagram stories, during which Burgess invited questions from her fans, one decided to ask, “If you came back to DWTS who would the dream partner be? Also fave dance of all time?”
While Burgess, 40, didn’t answer the question about her favorite dance of all time, she went into great detail about the men she considers to be her “dream” partners on the show โ and it’s fair to say some of her choices were extremely interesting, to say the least.
Travis Kelce and Rapper With โNatural Rhythmโ Among the Stars Burgess Would Love to Dance With
GettyBurgess named no less than EIGHT stars she’d like to dance with on “Dancing with the Stars” โ starting with Taylor Swift’s fiancรฉ and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce. She wrote, “I mean #1 Travis Kelce becauseโฆ Taylor,” suggesting the logic behind the choice was more due to the fact she’s a Swifty than anything else.
The Australian’s second pick was “The Recruit” and “Black Adam” actor Noah Centineo, with the reasoning behind the choice being, “because yall would be feral.”
Next up was Colombian singer and rapper Maluma. Burgess’ logic for this choice was more well thought out, as she said, “natural rhythm, and the fan base cross over would be a voting dream.”
Burgess’ fourth pick was Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny, “for the same reasons” as Maluma.
Burgess Also Chose Jason Derulo and ‘Talented’ Actor
GettySinger and songwriter Jason Derulo was Burgess’ fifth choice, with her reasoning simply being because, “he would crush.”
Then came actor Channing Tatum, with Burgess writing, “I meanโฆ man can dance. You’d be begging for a magic mike number and you know CAI and Bruno are falling off their chairs again. ;)”
“Rocketman” star Taron Egerton was next (though Burgess did humorously spell his name “Train Edgarton”). All Burgess had to say about him was that he is “so talented.”
The dancer’s final choice was “Anyone but You” star Glen Powell โ and Burgess went into great detail about why he’d make a great partner. She wrote, “that hitman movie was super funny and I think he’d absolutely be game to have a laugh and not take it too seriously but also actually be good. And again, yall would go feral.๐๐”
Whether or not those huge stars would have the time to participate in “Dancing with the Stars” is another matter โ Burgess admitted that herself in her final comment, saying, “Never said it would be a realistic list ๐” โ but they would all undoubtedly be great contestants.
Of course, Burgess hasn’t appeared as a partnered dancer on “Dancing with the Stars” since 2021’s season 30, when she teamed-up with her real-life fiancรฉ, actor Brian Austin Green, and finished 13th. She has, however, been a judge on the Australian version of the show since 2019.
