Ree Drummond is giving fans another adorable glimpse into life as a grandmother.
“The Pioneer Woman” star recently shared a heartwarming video clip of her toddler granddaughter, Sofia Scott, that quickly went viral. In a series of sweet moments, the little girl is seen in a montage of “hey” videos.

“The Pioneer Woman” star shared a series of Instagram clips documenting her granddaughter Sofia Scott’s visit with her parents, Ree Drummond’s daughter Alex Drummond Scott and husband Mauricio Scott. The family traveled from Dallas, Texas, to Pawhuska, Oklahoma for a family visit.
Drummond captioned the montage, “She’s the ultimate ‘hey’ girl.”
In every clip, Sophia is completely overjoyed to see her grandmother, enthusiastically shouting out her signature “hey!” greeting. Whether waking up in the morning, getting up from a nap, or just spotting her in the room, the happy toddler was always thrilled to be reunited with her “Ree Ree.”
Fans were thrilled by the montage. They shared their remarks in the post’s comments section.
“Sofia is vocal and mobile….let the fun begin!!!!!” exclaimed one follower. A second fan penned, “Oh gosh if that’s not a little sprinkle of heaven.”
A third follower noted, “Love her excitement, a grandparents dream!” A fourth Instagram user shared, “the sweetest sound.”
Soon, Ree Drummond Will Be a Grandmother of Two
Alex Drummond and her husband, Mauricio Scott, learned they would become parents to a second child earlier this year. The baby, a boy, is set to make his appearance in September.
“Here we go again!! Another little blessing coming in September,” they wrote in a joint Instagram post. “Thank you Lord for our growing family! George [their golden retriever] is still processing the news.”
Throughout her second pregnancy, the “Pioneer Woman” star and social media content creator has opened up about some of her food cravings, self-care routines, and the things she is looking forward to.
In a post on the Pioneer Woman website, Alex explained that her cravings ranged from popsicles to Caesar salad and Jersey Mike’s club sub “in a tub.” Additionally, she is also enjoying for some self-care time, which will be harder to come by once baby brother joins the Scott family.
She explained that using masks and taking a moment to rest “feels like something I can control when everything else about my body feels so out of control right now! So anything I can do to boost morale and give myself a little glow, I will be doing it LOL.”
Alex revealed that she was more low-key about telling her parents about her second pregnancy. She admitted in an Instagram Q&A, per the Pioneer Woman website, “We were pretty nonchalant this time around. “We immediately FaceTimed my parents (like a day or two after finding out LOL) because we weren’t going to see them in person for a while and I needed to tell someone!!!” The couple put a Big Sister sweatshirt on Sofia, so she could join in the fun.
