After weeks of watching various hunks be sent home on Hallmark Channel‘s “Finding Mr. Christmas,” the sixth and final episode of Season 2 began with three remaining contestants. Craig Geoghan, Angel Garet, and Rustin Sailors competed for the title by showing off their Hallmark acting skills. Each got to show their expertise in chasing after their true love and kissing Erin Krakow.
In the end, Geoghan was chosen as the winner, and host Jonathan Bennett explained why.
“The winner is a guy who’s grown, taken every piece of feedback we’ve given, adapted to every scene, and always added a piece of themselves into the characters he played,” he said about Geoghan. “He’s kind to everyone on and offscreen; he’s an actor that has grown not only in his craft, but in his heart.”
As the winner, Geoghan got to co-star in “A Make or Break Holiday” with Hunter King and Evan Roderick. Geoghan sat down to explain to “Entertainment Weekly” why the character he played was perfect.

In “A Make or Break Holiday,” King and Roderick play Liv and Daniel, a couple who decide to pause their relationship right before Christmas. Unfortunately, they already made plans to spend the holidays with each other’s families. They choose to fake that they’re still together, resulting in some awkward and comedic situations. Geoghan plays Liv’s brother, Reid.
Hallmark“I played her brother on ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’ as well,” he said, explaining that he thought the dynamic between him and King may have led to the casting decision. He also felt he really started to hit his stride when she came on the show.
“It also helps that we kind of look alike,” he added. “Hunter and I took a selfie together on set in Canada, and we were like, ‘Wow, this is pretty convincing.’ I sent it to my actual sister and she’s like, ‘Are you replacing me right now?'”

The Christmas film sees Reid and another family member realize that Liv and Daniel have split up. They plot and scheme to reunite the pair, which Geoghan said resulted in some funny scenes for his “knucklehead” character.
“He is getting bossed around by grandma throughout the entire movie,” he said. “I’m almost like a pawn in her game, but there are so many opportunities for comedy throughout it for me. Going through ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’ was like a boot camp, so it got me ready for that, and I think it’s going to go over really well. So I’m excited.”
“A Make or Break Holiday” premieres on the Hallmark Channel on Saturday, December 20 at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT. It can be streamed the following day on Hallmark+.
