The season 2 winner of Hallmark’s “Finding Mr. Christmas” will be unveiled during the December 15 finale, and fans cannot wait. Ahead of the finale, host Jonathan Bennett got input from fans to see who they thought would win the title.
Jonathan Bennett’s Instagram Poll Suggest Rustin Sailors Should Win
In an Instagram Story posted on December 14, Bennett included a poll and asked fans to vote. He asked, “Who’s your pick?”
Bennett included a photo from filming that showed the three finalists, Rustin Sailors, Craig Geoghan, and Angel Garet, posing together. The Hallmark star added, “One of these 3 will be crowned Mr Christmas.”
In a subsequent Instagram Story, Bennett wrote, “May the best man WIN!”
A few hours before the poll was set to disappear, as Instagram Stories only last for 24 hours, Sailors seemed to have a substantial lead over his fellow finalists.
The poll results had Sailors receiving 48 percent of the votes, while Geoghan received 30 percent. Garet trailed with 21 percent.
Bennett gushed over all three “incredible men” in an Instagram post on December 15. He wrote, “Watching you grow, learn, stumble, shine, and show up has been one of the greatest gifts of Finding Mr. Christmas.”
He continued, “What started as a competition quickly became a masterclass in vulnerability, kindness, brotherhood, and heart — and you three led the way.”
“The final three. Three incredible men. One unforgettable season. So proud of all of you — and so grateful I got a front-row seat to this chapter of your story,” he added.
Bennett wrapped his caption by writing, “And true me… your story is just beginning.”
Some Hallmark Fans Want All 3 Men to Be Hired
Hallmark fans filled the comment section of Bennett’s Instagram post with their thoughts on the season.
One fan noted, “Each one has made me laugh in my soul!!”
Another declared, “#TeamRustin!!”
Someone else pleaded, “Can we just choose all 3??? I can’t pick just one!”
On Bennett’s post on Facebook, another Hallmark fan had a passionate request. “Just put all three in a movie and call it done. The sad part is, we have fallen in love with all of the contestants and wish all of them well, but we know only one can be crowned.”
That commenter continued, “I will be happy with any of these three. They all have their distinct qualities that can bring great characters to life.”
Another Facebook commenter admitted she was “Personally rooting for Rustin.” She explained that Sailors shows feelings of compassion and empathy naturally, while “Craig has to act to achieve that.”
Someone else commented, “Team Rustin! Wait Angel…. no wait Craig!!! Oh hire them all!!!”
In a Reddit discussion posted in the “Hallmark Movies” subreddit on December 3, one network fan felt “It is clear 6 episodes in that they have chosen Craig as their winner.”
The Reddit user was disappointed with that predicted ending, however, adding, “Rustin is by far the top guy, better actor, more charisma.”
On December 15, another Reddit user replied, “I wouldn’t be surprised if Craig wins. I called it a few weeks ago.”
Someone else noted on the Reddit thread they noticed that Sailors has a “new look,” so “Now I think he’s the winner or he’s gotten an acting gig.”
“Craig is light-years better than everyone else in the cast so I don’t mind if they pre chose him,” admitted an additional Reddit user.
My pick would have been Rustin
He was FANTASTIC. I know Craig won, but you should still hire the other 2. Only Craig will be Mr Christmas & the others just get acting gigs. Come PLEASE. They all So FABULOUS.
