1. ‘Unexpected Valentine’

In January 2025, Lacey Chabert revealed what she loves the most about the movie.

“I love a Valentine’s Day movie, and what I love most about this one is it takes place in one night,” Chabert told Swoon. “My character gets into a rideshare on Valentine’s afternoon, and she doesn’t have big plans for the night. She gets in the car, she’s getting out, saying goodbye, and she basically finds an engagement ring, so she and the driver go on a mission to find the owner of the ring.”

“Unexpected Valentine” is streaming now on Hallmark+.

Synopsis: “A chance encounter on Valentine’s Day brings Hannah (Chabert) and Finn (Buckley) together as they race through New York City to return a lost engagement ring and save one couple’s special day.”

Starring: Lacey Chabert and Robert Buckley

2. ‘ It Was Always You’

While this 2021 Hallmark flick has no official sequel, Erin Krakow is already looking forward to returning for a second installment.

Speaking with PEOPLE in April 2024, the actress shared her excitement about the possibility of doing a sequel and working with Tyler Hynes.

“I would be very, very happy for us to have a sequel to ‘It Was Always You’,” she told the outlet at the time. “If not a sequel, just another opportunity for Tyler and I to reunite on something. He’s a great, great guy and so fun to work with and I think people really enjoyed that chemistry. So let’s do it again.”

“It Was Always You” is streaming now on Hallmark+.

Synopsis: “Elizabeth’s (Krakow) engagement plans are thrown into disarray when her fiancé’s free-spirited brother David (Hynes) returns home. David’s unexpected influence prompts Elizabeth to question her life decisions.”

Starring: Erin Krakow and Tyler Hynes

3. ‘A Country Wedding’

In 2015, Autumn Reeser shared her thoughts about the film.

“I think one of the things that people are going to really enjoy about ‘A Country Wedding’ is that it’s a lot about roots,” she told Parade at the time. “It’s a lot about ‘hometown’ and staying true to who you are.”

Stream “A Country Wedding” on Hallmark+.

When he crosses paths with his childhood sweetheart – and finally feels inspired to write songs again – he reevaluates his life, his values and his opinion of true love. 4. ‘The Lost Valentine’

In January 2011, Jennifer Love Hewitt shared why people should watch the film.

“It’s one of the greatest love stories I have ever read,” she said in an interview with CBS. “I mean, really, it’s for an older generation and a younger generation; they come together flawlessly in the movie. And who wouldn’t want to be in love? Who wouldn’t give up everything love?”

Stream “The Lost Valentine” on Hallmark+.

Synopsis: “During World War II, Navy Lt. Neil Thomas bids Caroline, his pregnant young wife, farewell at Union Station. Before their son is born, Neil’s plane goes down in the Pacific and he’s declared missing in action. Caroline is devastated. But love never dies, and for the next 65 years Caroline (Betty White) returns to Union Station on the anniversary of her loss, to salute the memory of her handsome and brave husband. Eventually, a TV journalist (Jennifer Love Hewitt) learns of the touching story and sets out to investigate just what happened to Neil 65 years earlier. Neil and Caroline’s grandson encourages his initially-reluctant grandmother to cooperate; eventually the reporter and the young man fall in love themselves. Viewers will embrace both Betty White in a dramatic role that celebrates lost love, and Jennifer Love Hewitt in a part that celebrates found love. The Lost Valentine is based on the novel by James Michael Pratt.”

Starring: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Betty White, and Sean Faris

5. ’14 Love Letters’

In July 2022, Vanessa Sears revealed what made her want to portray her character in the film.

“I’m a big fan of romance, love and getting swept off my feet, but I think it’s also important to keep sharing stories where the women in these romances have agency,” she told MediaVillage. “I love that Kallie has options and gets to make a choice. Fate and destiny can be very romantic, and I would argue that they do still play a role here, but we get to see Kallie make a choice that is right for her, and one that comes from a place of authenticity as opposed to, well, he’s the only man in town, so I guess we’re getting married.”

“14 Love Letters” is streaming now on Hallmark+.

Synopsis: “After historic love letters start anonymously appearing in Kallie Sharp’s mailbox, the hobby farmer searches for her secret admirer and opens herself up to love.”

Starring: Vanessa Sears, Franco Lo Presti and Madeleine Claude.
